When it comes to getting groceries I frequent the same stores, but I'm always down to try a new location. I decided to try the Sprouts location in Pasadena. The parking lot was spacious and easy to access. The store setup is a lot more spacious than other locations I've visited, you don't feel as if you're bumping elbows with other shoppers on the aisle. Overall the store was very clean and well organized. As for customer service, I past at least four employees from the time I entered the store and began shopping, not one said hello, can I help you or even smiled. Having a sales/customer service background this is always a huge disappointment! I think it's really important to be pleasant and helpful, especially when people have so many options to spend their money elsewhere. There's a new Amazon Fresh store, right down the street. Once I get the we're just here, please don't bother us vibe, I try my best to do just that! I was on the search for wild caught salmon in the meat department, going back and forth, without a clue! Determined not to bother any of the employees that walked by and watched me searching, eye contact and everything...lol At this point I'm laughing to myself and ready to go, but before I could leave, I hear " Hello, do you need help with anything ". I said yes please and Marco the store manager found the wild caught salmon I was looking for. Thank you Marco for being observant, pleasant and helpful, I appreciate you and your efforts to provide good customer service. So for convenient parking, store organization and cleanliness this store was great! But to drive 30min and spend my money where the customer service is " we're here, but don't ask", no thanks, I'll try my luck elsewhere. People forget alot of things, but not how they are treated or how you made them feel. Great customer service trumps everything in my book.

I've been coming to this location ever since it opened and have lived in this area my entire life, so I am no stranger to the area. However there has been a few times i've been followed and had the workers watching my every move making me feel like a criminal and very unwelcomed. Just recently I went in when they were soon to close and went to take a quick look and as soon as I went to check something out, I immediately noticed one of the workers get on the computer behind me (hopefully they were actually on there for a real reason other than watching me.) and another one "conveniently" messing around with the shelves near me and a security guard who just "HAPPENS" to post up at the end of the aisle I was in, constantly watching me as I turn to see why i'm surrounded by so many workers pretending to work while acting like i'm there trying to steal. The whole entire time I felt unwelcomed, racially profiled, uncomfortable and discriminated against for no reason whatsoever. I honestly felt like they were singling me out! As I made my way to check out, I noticed the security guard literally staring me down as I walked past him to exit the aisle. Seriously? This is what things have come to LOL? Such a failed effort in not making their intimidation tatics so obvious. They're lucky I didn't make a scene and call them out for their bs. Me and my family always come here and spend our hard earned money because Sprouts offers such good deals and has a cheaper selection of organics compared to most stores but now I am really reconsidering never coming back ever again! I'm also considering sharing my experience with friends and people I know, warning everyone what to expect. Am I seriously expected to believe this is all in my head and that i'm just overreacting and being overly paranoid? Am I seriously expected to accept being treated like some kind of thief and criminal? Uhhh, absolutely not! Look, I out of all people am against stealing and people who are willing to commit crimes as I too keep aware of people who might be up to no good, HOWEVER I do not and would not make that person feel uncomfortable or make excuses to bother them while pretending to do something just to heckle them based on a slight suspicion that they may be possibly guilty. Let me shop in peace for god's sake! If it wasn't for this event and others i've delt with here, I would've given 5 stars but nope, they don't deserve such treatment as I apparently am unworthy of the proper treatment of a paying customer who regularly shops here. They really need to tread carefully before they end up with a lawsuit on their hands or much worse I fear depending on who they harass next time.

There's always a great selection of healthy foods and snacks for many ailments that require low fat, non fat, low sugar, no sugar and many more variations. A great place to grocery shop for organic foods too.

This review is for management. Not very nice. I was here for a demo to help sales in this store and he had a bad attitude

I've come to this Sprouts a few times. They have a good selection. It's a clean location and well organized. However, Sprouts has had a shortage on their BBQ Potato Chips, which has been very sad. I have searched high and low for these chips and cannot find them at any location. I didn't find out why until last Friday. I am leaving this review because of Brandon, the employee who helped me on Friday Dec. 15th! Brandon was extremely helpful and even took the time to look up what was going on with the chips!! Brandon informed me that there is in fact a shortage and there are no signs as to why. Before Brandon told me, I just assumed I had bad luck trying to find the chips. I thanked Brandon for his research and efforts to help me and I was going to take off but then Brandon said, "let me find you help good alternatives!" I was surprised because I had never received customer service like this. When I did work in retail, I was usually the employee who did this, so it was nice for once to be on the receiving end. Brandon took me back to the chip aisle and took even more time out of his night shift to help me. I let Brandon know of my allergies (which are a lot) and I explained to him that the Sprouts brand BBQ chips are the only ones I could eat... or so I thought! He took them time to not only show me other brands but to go over the ingredients with me! A few of the brands he said were good but some he hadn't tried yet. But he made sure none of my allergens were in any of the selections! He didn't pressure me to buy anything either which was nice. However, I ended up leaving with a selection of 3 and all 3 were AMAZING! Brandon went above and beyond with his service and care. He didn't make me feel like I was bothersome for asking about the chips and he went above and beyond my simple question of, "Do you know why there's no sprouts bbq chips anywhere?" He literally went to find the answer and once he did, he didn't stop there! He wanted to make sure I had some options! People like Brandon truly deserve a raise and just so much good in life. I wish I had asked for his last name, as I don't know if there's multiple Brandons at this location. But if you ever need help, he's a wonderful employee and extremely helpful and kind!! On top of it, I was having a really bad day that day and his kindness really went a long way. Thank you, Brandon!

I had to write! I am a bit embarrassed. It wasn't the fresh produce, or great sandwiches, the prices are pretty fair too, it was the great customer service. Ok, I was at checkout, I want to say that I had too much on my mind, really not an excuse, but I left my wallet on the counter there. It was mid afternoon. So after getting back home and having the Oh F*%k moment. Retracing steps, etc, I called Sprouts, sure enough, they had it. Next step go in and claim my wallet. I found the appropriate person, described my wallet, and they returned it all in tack. Cards and all. I know, I could imagine that the cards could've been used , I will find out and an addendum will will be made. For Now, Thank You to the Staff, and Managers at Sprouts. I am thankful and grateful

Bad customer service. Not going to repeat what I said because people will falsely flag my post. I recommend other Sprouts if you must, but not this one. They don't value you, but they are extremely paranoid at things that don't exist

Really, no fresh grapefruit juice, no more Uncle Matt’s?. No bricks of pepper jack cheese other than goat? No help bagging unless I pay for your bags? You’re most expensive frozen shrimp have more than six tails with no shrimp attached? No more good packs of kumato tomatoes? Now just expensive small cocktail kumato’s? You only have old dried up poblano chilies? Wow, that’s too many strike for one trip to the market!I will give two stars because some of the limited produce is nice, tho not that much better than big box markets. The young man today in produce was very responsive and helpful. Other than that, it was a negative experience. This is not the first time I have been disappointed at this pasadena location. And not the first time I walked away going to a second store for basics. It seems like this Sprout’s is about expensive “health foods and potions.” On a a current market survey, I noticed this is now one of the most expensive markets in Pasadena.Your store used to be better! I used to spend hundreds each trip. Now will take my money elsewhere.

During the pandemic, I started ordering via their app (or Instacart. They accept orders from either). I'm still getting my groceries that way because it's just so easy and the staff are great at choosing produce. Just pull up to the marked parking spots by the front door, you're groceries are loaded in your car, then drive away. Love it!
