Jasmin in the print department was extremely helpful and dedicated in helping me print the best image for my event. I came around closing hours but she was still very pleasant and helpful. There was a long line and she handled everyone with a great attitude. Very great multitasker (she was the only one in print).
Nizar who was on the main floor was efficient and knowledgeable about the location of items, allowing me to breeze through the store without any issues.
Great staff!

If you need large projects printed, I suggest you go some where else. We had such a frustrating experience printing items for our wedding that is coming up, and the employees here are NOT on the same page at all. This was our experience in chronological order.
1. We went in for quotes of getting items printed. The gentlemen at the print desk was helpful, and instructed us to bring everything in later that weekend and that the employee working would help us find the best deal for our printing needs.
2. We return with all of our files on a flash drive. The lady at the print desk immediately told us that NO, she could not help us find the best price, and that the guy had no idea what he was talking about. She asks me how large my order is going to be, and I estimated about 200 pages of cardstock. She tells me that the store doesn't even HAVE any white cardstock on hand so I cannot get it printed. She said the earliest I could pick it up is the following Thursday. She then gets annoyed that I have 5 different PDF files, instead of just one that needs printed, and that they all have different quantities that need printed. She hands me back my flash drive and tells me I need to go online to place the order.
3. about 2 weeks later, we place the order online to print. I deselect the option that says "scale to fit" . Everything was measured to a precise measurement, and I wanted it printed as is. The order is ready the next day(they must've had cardstock this time) When we pick it up It's all in a nice box. I open it to look at them and I can tell that the top place card has been shrunk. The lady at the counter tells me that she had to shrink it because they were worried about it cutting off on the edge. I totally understand, but honestly they should've called to ask if this was okay. She then told me, that she DID NOT resize any of the other papers. Just that one. Which is why we ultimately decided to just go with the flow and take the items as they were.
4. Now, we realized that I made a pretty bad spelling error on a menu. This was completely my mistake and I take ownership for that. We were trying to decide if we wanted to eat the cost and reprint the menus, or if we wanted to fix it a different way. My fiancé called the Staples and asked to speak to the manager, to see if they were able to give us a discount if we reprinted them. The Man on the phone was SO KIND. He said that was no problem, and he would be happy to do that for us. We decided to go ahead and reprint since we were told we would get a discount. My Fiancé let him know he would come by the next day (Monday) to pick them up.
5. After we placed the new order we began cutting the other printed pieces, and we realized EVERYTHING was resized, even the signs I had made with solid color backgrounds had UNEVEN white boards on half of the page. This required more work on our part to get everything to look correct, and to be the correct size. This was so absolutely frustrating, and we made a note to let the manger know when we came back in.
6. Monday comes around and my fiancé goes in to pick up the reprint. The lady working this time is the lady who originally told us we couldn't do our order in store. They tell him that the man he spoke to was not the manager, and that they would not be giving a discount because the spelling mistake was our error. They only decided to give us a SMALL discount after he informed them that ALL of our papers had been printed the wrong size, but my fiancé said they didn't seem happy about doing it. I think they should've taken ownership for the resizing error, and honored a bigger discount. I realize the spelling error was my mistake, and if we had been told no from the get go then we probably would've figured something else out that was more cost effective. It's just SO frustrating.
Some of the employees here are nice, and helpful. Others not so much. I get that it

Had 2 different items bulk printed here for an event, Kristy called and caught that I accidently selected one sided printing for a project when I meant to select 2 sided for (a folded program). So grateful they were so attentive and thought to call to double check on this. Everything turned out exactly as we wanted.

I Went on Monday to the Pasadena Staples to pick up some office supplies-an easel pad I found online for $65.09 for a 2 pack. They had the same item in singles. I asked the young lady in the isle if they would price match the two items for the same price as the two-pack. She said "yes" instructed me to show the cashier the online price and they would match it. The item online is the same exact item I intended to buy along with some other supplies. That's when I met Josh and an idiot by the name of Richard who proceeded to tell me that they are not the same item and that they could not honor the online price. Richard, who simply lacks all forms of basic customer service etiquette proceeded to tell me that he was the store manager upon my request for the manager. Josh and Richard dug their feet in and would not honor what I showed them to be the same item listed. I ended up purchasing the two items and paid $49.95 for each of them. It was late, I had a long day at the office and needed the items for my morning meeting and relented by purchasing them as individual items. These two guys-Josh and Richard are absurd individuals who should be ashamed of themselves to say the least and we're unprofessional, lacking common sense and heavy on being rude. No wonder this piece is dung of a location has such a low YELP review/stars! The actual manager and their regional managers should be ashamed of themselves. I will never go back to this store nor to any other Staples store. I instructed my Comptroller to switch companies today and will take our business elsewhere.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Conduct at East Pasadena Staples Dear Staples Customer Service, I am writing to express my deep concerns about an unsettling experience my wife and I recently encountered at your East Pasadena store near Rosemead and Colorado. The incident involved an employee named Russel, and I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention. Upon entering the store, we politely asked an associate at the cashier if we could use the restroom, and there were no signs posted or indicating it was out of order. However, when we approached the restroom, we crossed path with another employee Russel whom informed us that it was out of order. Strangely, there was no indication of this, and there was a Crowd Guidance System located just before the path to the restroom which was not in used at all. We decided to go about our shopping, feeling uncomfortable due to Russel's gaze, as if we were being suspected of theft, despite being there to make purchases that was a few hundred dollars. As we proceeded to the cashier, Russel's behavior continued to be concerning. He seemed to scrutinize us while inspecting our hands and scrutinizing our identification when Russel requested for it, creating an atmosphere of profiling, discriminative and discomfort. When I asked for his name, he identified himself as Russel but claimed not to have his ID badge when I asked why don't you have one on, which is unacceptable since he was not wearing the staples polo uniform, particularly considering the nature of Staples business. This incident left us feeling profiled, discriminated against, and overall uncomfortable. Such behavior contradicts the values of customer service and respect for patrons. Customers should not be subjected to unwarranted scrutiny, especially when there is no reasonable cause for suspicion. I urge you to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and take appropriate actions to address Russel's conduct. If he is a manager as some of the associates states, I would highly recommend to have him removed as a manager, Customer trust and satisfaction are paramount, and incidents like these can significantly impact your brand reputation as this store has been shown slow customer traffic the last few years that we been coming here. Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue. I hope for a resolution that ensures a more positive and respectful experience for all customers.
