“I've been here a few times over the years. Cigars are fine, Anto is a nice host, and yes l, you are in downtown Pasadena so deal with the parking/restroom type issues. I can see how some people can feel out of place at times and it does have too much of an "LA" vibe at times. For example, Anto is a simple, old world owner (I mean that as a compliment) but his son's or friend's sons or whoever he seems to hire, are never helpful or seem to do anything. I never walked out feeling like "hey, my kinda place" and that's despite Anto seeming like a genuine good guy. But that's just me. Prices are fair and inventory is in good condition and plenty of variety.”

“Best customer service experience in many many years!! Purchased a vape here that had an issue as soon as I tried to turn it on it was clear the battery was inoperable (this happens a lot, but it's rare to find a shop owner who is u fee standing and willing to help). The store owner is a wonderful man. I don't know him, other than the acts of kindness he displayed today. He did an exchange, was apologetic and sweet, and helped with other questions. These times are hard. With a recent death in the family and the impacts of this pandemic, I was really anxious because money is tight and every dollar counts. The shop owner was patient, fair, and incredibly helpful. Walking out of the store I felt so heard, respected, and valued. I will from now on be driving here for ALL my vape and smoking needs. “I've visited Universal Stop twice so far. And I will definitely continue to be a customer. It's a tiny store with 2 parking spots. I've only gone in the mornings and both times were not busy. The owner is kind enough to explain how different products compare so I can make an informed decision. The prices are average, so at least you know you're not getting ripped off. He even has a little cappuccino maker. But I don't think it's for customers haha. Overall, I do recommend this smoke shop!”

“This is now my go-to liquor store in Pasadena. I immediately noticed how clean it is, and I like their selection of both candy and drinks. Their prices are great too, and it's conveniently located off the 210 freeway close to Pasadena City College. I definitely recommend this place if you need a quick coffee before class. (:”
“Very interesting store with a lot of products mostly for smoking but there are also random products like lighters, ash trays and candles. The products sold here usually looks well made and of good quality. The store is clean and owner is very nice.”
