Celebrated my daughter's 21st Birthday and had a great time! The space was perfect for our guests and still had lots of room for the private vendors that we hired that night. I read some reviews just now about this venue and majority mentioned about them liking the natural light during the day. Ours was a night event and I cannot emphasize how nice the photos came out when our photographer took pictures of our guests in the alley and against the red brick wall outside! It was CLASSIC! Venue was clean and staff were very helpful. I wished the response level was quicker when I had questions during the planning stages but I'll still give Whimsy a 5 star because that is more on me - being in the sales/corporate business, I need to respond ASAP or lose the deal type of thing. I wished they had a branch closer to where I live but either way, I will consider booking with them again in the future. Thank you Whimsy!

We had our daughter’s first birthday here. Amazing venue situated in heart of Pasadena down town. Amazing space with so much natural light, great amenities including chairs, tables, and TVs, and tall ceilings to make it your own. Lots of parking nearby, and we had easy access for our vendors to setup and pick up. Highly recommend!

Cool concept for open rental space. I went during a painting exhibition and was amazed to see every single piece sold. Some for over $20,000. Clearly this place attracts the right crowd.

Had a wonderful time at my cousin's baby shower. She hosted her shower at the Whimsy in Pasadena CA. It was a cute little spot that you pretty much can dress up the way you want. A blank canvas as they say. Dress it up she did. It was the cutest 😻 thing!!!

Driving in to unload equipment was awkward. It’s located in a tight alley way. The only thing that made it feel safer was the fact that there were other shops on the block. Parking at the structure costed $15 for the day. The place was alright. The bathroom was nice and nearly soundproof which is the best part during a super loud party. Seriously, the acoustics of the room really amplifies the sound of there’s a DJ here. Also, beware that there is no ramp for wheelchair users in the front. I’m not sure about a back entrance though.

This location is a really sweet gem in Old Town Pasadena. This place is good for hosting any kind of events such as baby showers, birthdays, and all sorts of small gatherings. The alley also is home for plenty of eateries while you are there. Make sure to tell your guests at the event to park off Green St for the free 90 min! Check them out!

Cool event space with very easy parking. It is clean and the A/C was cold which is a big sigh of relief on hot days.
