What a horrible experience. Only one teller open. No one acknowledges customers or the ever growing line. I speak up and ask why no more tellers and I'm summarily shot down that they have other work. I do everything I can not to come into the bank for any reason. Thinking of transferring to Wells Fargo

They don't want to help you. I ran out of deposit slips and had to go into the bank. The BofA branch in Atascadero is closed "temporarily" (I heard all their staff left) and so I went to the Paso Robles BofA branch to make a deposit. The lady made the deposit but when I asked if she could order deposit slips she replied: "We don't do that. You can call or do it online." I tried calling and got a recording. After multiple menu selections the recording said to do it online. I went online and entered my id and password and kept getting the message that they didn't match. You can't get a person on the phone line. It seems obvious that BofA doesn't want any contact with customers except within the confines of the digital world and if there is a glitch and you can't solve it, then too bad, you as a client are too much of a bother. There are several local banks in Atascadero that I am familiar with and, even though it's a bother to switch my account to one of them, that's what I think I'll have to do. I know the other local banks have employees who are willing to help a client with a problem. I'm just grateful that I still have some BofA checks left with which to withdraw the account funds and deposit them in one of the other banks here in Atascadero.

This bank is the worst customer service ever. Every time I go do my banking the tellers is soooo rude and act high and mighty. Bad attitude not just with me but other customers also. Only reason I come here because my other location is temporarily closed. All the tellers should be fired or retraining otherwise they shouldn't be working there. The manager sucks the employees even worst. They only kiss a** to the Mexican clients seen with my own eyes

So I called the branch and told them we wanted to explore a home equity line of credit. They made an appointment for us to go in. I explained that my wife is disabled and wheelchair bound. We go to the branch after I have loaded the wheelchair, un load the wheelchair at the branch, go in and wait only to be told by the "relationship manager" that they don't have a housing officer and that they will have someone call us. Leave having reloaded the wheelchair, unload again at home having achieved absolutely nothing. Why the heck they couldn't have arranged the telephone appointment when I called I don't know, guessing they get sales credit for the referral and for wasting our time. We used to do a lot of our banking here now I remember why we moved all our accounts away. Horrible customer experience, wish they would read all the terrible reviews and learn something.

THEY NEVER HAVE TELLERS. One TELLER working during peak hours. Today, Everyone else hanging postings and cleaning. Ridiculous

The rating increased due to the prompt and friendly service of the manager. Thankful she was able to quickly assist me with a cashiers check.

Went through four appointments to finalize specialized transactions. Available service representatives could not do the transactions, and the one person that seemed to be able to handle it was not available. In addition, common office equipment (scanners) were down for days and no information on when they would be available. I was never called to let me know that my transaction could not occur and to cancel my appointment. Very disappointed in this branch. I'm sure they handle standard checking and savings well - but anything specialized - take your business elsewhere or to a more competent BofA branch.

I would give 100 negative stars if I could. These are the most inept people I've ever experienced. My husband went in to do a wire transfer for a home purchase and spoke to Jessie who assured him all was taken care of. He then called back and said the transfer was cancelled and you will have to come back in. WTF? We asked him to escalate to a supervisor and he said he had gotten approval. We then checked on things the next day and turned out he hadn't initiated the transfer. I called and spoke to his boss, Janet, who was even less help. She said she would look into it and call back and then never called. We had to make another hour long trip to another branch because these folks cannot perform basic banking functions. We are seriously thinking of leaving BofA just because of this branch.

I want to start off by saying Edna is one of the bank tellers I took my father-in-law in to withdraw some money she was a Bank teller mind you my father-in-law just had a stroke walks with a walker very unsteady and I had my two-year-old daughter I was trying to help my father-in-law pull money out of the bank so I was getting all of his stuff out of his wallet and my daughter was sitting on the lower counter we receive the money and proceeded to walk away from the counter and another customer came up she started telling the other customer loudly in the bank that I allowed my daughter to write on the counter and I was trying to help my father-in-law that just had a stroke from not falling he started stumbling I turned around and I told her if you have something to say to me say it to me not to other customers that is very rude and very unprofessional and she yelled at me saying I did tell you And I asked for a manager and she looked at me and told me loudly sit down and wait she'll be with you when she can this lady is very unprofessional

Been with BofA for 45 yrs... have done millions of dollars in business with them (mortgages, equity, checking etc.) .. I walked in to the Paso branch @ 10am to do a wire transfer... "sorry, we don't have anyone here". I then asked to speak to the Manager... she came out with a bulldog face as if I was inconveniencing here. Given I had a 1pm wire transfer I had no time for chit chat and asked very directly, "Do you or do you not have someone that can do a wire transfer, if not, can you contact another branch that does?" - she thought I was being rude. Waste of time. I finally drove to the Atascadero branch and found a Manager with Customer Service experience. Paso Branch- you suck.

Well I went into the bank and needed to do an international wire transfer. The first man I met said he would get the lady who knows how to do it, and he did. She showed up knew exactly what to do, I gave her the information about where the money went, and Presto in a few minutes everything was handled. I have been in other places where this could take 20 to 30 minutes, who knows how? But here everything was Zippity Doo Dah quick, I was met by some of the friendliest people I could imagine, and everything worked great. Well all I can say is from my point of view nice branch. Thank you Bank of America

This bank was part of a class action law suit and lost. I received $12.62. They took over $1300 out of my account and then closed it.

Alot of employees standing around. Every time I come to this location...I am here for over hour! Was told by the only customer service employee that he needs to go to lunch and supervisor will help out. ....still waiting. The worst for customer service! The "supervisor and/or Managers" are standing around talking to each other! This bank is awful!
