While traveling for business my trucks battery was dead when I was checking out of local hotel. Towing companies locally were an hour wait for a jump. I called and spoke to Rex at Battery Systems in Pasa Robles CA. He sent one of his staff over to give me a jump and tested my battery. They had a replacement in stock and replaced it faster than the tow truck would arrive. Super friendly and great value.

Just a word of caution about pricing, which has nothing to do with the good staff or service at the Paso Robles brick and mortar store.I looked first to the Battery Systems website to select a new battery. In doing so, I selected Battery Systems of Paso Robles as "my store". I then used their online tool to determine the size and fitment of the battery. Many options were shown along with the price info for each battery.I selected an Odyssey AGM battery, which was shown on the website for $295 dollars. I phoned the store and found it was in stock, so I drove there to purchase the battery.Upon purchase, I found that I was charged $336 dollars not $295, that's $41 more dollars than shown online. To be clear, that's just for the battery, no other fees or taxes applied.The next day I went to the store to return the old battery core. While there, I brought this issue up to Rex since the price increase isn't shown anywhere on the itemized list for which I chose my battery (it's only shown if you attempt to purchase it online, and then on another page it says something to the effect "online special".Rex explained he is well aware of the issue and has tried to get the issue corrected without success. So buyer beware, if you buy from the local store, call and ask for the price and do not use the online information as provided for the store.

My son's battery in his Ford Fusion died. We went to AUTO zone and O'Reilly's and they didn't have it. I yelped batteries and found this place. Believe it or not we have passed it for years and never really noticed it. The guys there were super helpful and knowledgeable. They have a wide variety of every type of battery you can think of. Unfortunately, Ford has the market cornered on the Fusion battery, but they had the more heavy duty expensive one. We decided to go directly to Ford and buy it and they installed it. Saved us some money doing it that way. They were patient, knowledgeable and efficient. There equipment was top notch and the shop very clean. Found out they service cars, RV's, trucks, motorcycles and can fix starters and alternators , etc. I would highly recommend them.

Rex, the manager, was terrific! He explained my car battery options without pressure then quickly and expertly installed it. I was concerned as my car (BMW) went kookoo while in the process of getting the battery jumped; the electrical items blinked, even the wipers started although I hadn't turned them on! After the new battery installation all electrical in the car behaved perfectly-no need for reprogramming. Whew! What a relief to have a professional & a gentleman take care of the job! Actually, the three of the crew that I met were personable. I am so thankful!

I can't recommend this business enough. I was broke down at Post office almost 2 hours waiting for triple A, after my car was running again Started calling for a battery .. I have a Hyundai so it's not the normal size battery. I called and talked to Rex he had me come right down and even installed it. ( observing strict coved 19 rules) it was quick and affordable I was so pleased, very proper gentleman and I couldn't of appreciated everything about this business more.

I'm moving and found two old batteries I needed to get rid of. I knew they were hazardous waste. So I stopped into Battery systems to ask what to do with them. Instead of paying for hazardous waste I was paid and had lunch on them. They were very nice bunch of guys there. I would highly recommend their service. They install and prices are great too.
