Love the new appointment booking system. Had to wait 2 minutes after arriving, for my appointment.

I had an appointment, still waiting after 40 min ( didn't want to hold up line when I couldn't find my confirmation #, so just signed in, then tried to give confirmation # to woman at the desk). When I told her I found the # she said "too late", I'll note that you have an appt. While waiting, 2 separate non English speaking patients approached the desk. She briskly told then to log in. The just stood there, not knowing what to do, she made no effort to help them. I was about to get up and try to help, even though I'm NOT Spanish speaking ( but I am a human being) when a Spanish speaking person who was waiting intervened. The woman at the desk treated white people much better, ( still not great). Healthcare establishments should at least make an effort to assist ALL who come there!

They're a very busy lab and the staff run around like crazy in the earlier part of the day. It was less busier later in the afternoon. Wait time, without an appointment was over an hour when I went in the morning. Only 30 minutes when I went, without an appointment, in the afternoon. Staff was very friendly and professional. They were doing the best they could with the amount of patients that they needed to help. This was in the Paso Robles branch. I'm a hard stick and they're open to my suggestions to where there's a good site to stick me.

If you need blood work, this team of people are going to be some of the most compassionate people in the field, find one near you for blood work, they accept walk-ins, but it's easy peasy, in and out no tears with an appointment. :)

I don't mind setting up appointments online. I don't mind checking in on a computer. The tech that performed my blood draws was great except the tech stated that my doctor had written down the wrong code for one of the labs. In a smug self congratulating style the tech "fixed" the code. Now, four months later I'm hearing from WestPacLabs stating that my BlueShield insurance claims that my insurance was not in effect at the time of provided service. That makes no sense as 3 of the 4 labs were paid by Blue Shield. Untrue. Inaccurate. I call WestPacLabs and inform them my insurance is and was current. The CSR says they will resubmit. My Blue Shield EOB states it needs more info from my doctor so I email my doctors office copies of all pertinent paperwork. My doctor's office calls WestPacLabs and now WestPacLabs claims that I did not tell them that Medicare is my primary. Untrue. So I call WestPacLabs AGAIN and this CSR says he knows that I have Medicare and that Medicare remitted $2.54 on the bill. Again, untrue. WestPacLabs had indeed billed Medicare and the claim was denied by Medicare and then presented to my secondary, Blue Shield. Next I call Blue Shield the very helpful CSR there calls WestPacLabs on my behalf. The CSR is ghosted by Rachel of WestPacLabs and then on callbacks it's past 4pm so WestPacLabs quits taking calls. The WestPacLabs CSRs seem to be in India. They are heavily accented and they are difficult to understand and due to all their misinformation I believe that we English speakers are difficult for them to understand as well. Or they just aren't very well trained. The problem originated with the lab tech until it eventually became my problem 4 months later. I'm switching labs for any future lab work.

Had two consecutive draws on the same day for two different doctors. Some of the results on the reports differed by factors of 2-3 times. Inaccurate testing to say the least. The people doing the draws were nice and professional, but I doubt the lab itself knows what they’re doing.

Easy parking by Kohl's and Subway. Takes a little bit to go online and set up appointment but once it's done and you make your appointment it's a fast sign in and not a long wait.

Went to have blood taken 1/2023. Opened the door and it looked like summer 2020 - everyone was masked and sitting 6' apart! Very creepy. Left and went to Labcorp.
