Edith and the team worked with my engine builder to make sure we were all on the same page for performance and fitness in my 1969 Chevelle. Very happy with the finished product.

Had the header, big block, power steering pump, crushed tubes , fitment issue on 69 Camaro, so went with Lemons and Edith did a great job with communication on my order keeping me updated and going over pics I sent in of the issues of what I was dealing with before hand, then even sent the new headers to me before they were coated to verify fit, headers fit perfect and look fantastic, would definitely go with Lemons again

Not a good experiance at all for a 72 chevelle. First off we had to cut the colectors. They were hanging to low witch was the reason for purchasing an expensive set of headers. After the installation we noticed the rear pipe drivers side was 1/8” or so to the fire wall .. it was so close it peeled the new paint off of it . We had to cut the tube and relocate . There is no reason to have the tube that way. I was told it was made to be installed on a auto or standard vehicle. I was told that maybe my firewall had been modified or had the wrong motor mounts or I should move my engine ahead .. engine is in its proper place . Fire wall hasent been tampered with and those headers don’t fit unless you want to burn down your chevelle ! The one in the pic by the yellow cabinet is the modified one to fit the 72 chevelle . Clears everything and fits auto and standard . We had to repaint both sides of the firewall.
THIS PRODUCT IS NOT RECOMENDED !!!!!

POST INSTALLATION UPDATE FOR ‘67 Chevelle - These things fit like I’ve never experienced with headers on cars. A little tape and paper to protect the finish, but no beating, bending, or scraping. I was worried with upping the tube size by 1/8”, but these things are well away from frame, brakes, clutch, steering, and upper control arms. For those putting ‘em on a ‘67, I’d consider battery cable length to starter. Directions were right-on with installing starter before sucking the header down to the head, but cable routing without enough length took some time to keep clearances. I like to live by the motto that you get what you pay for and when this all came together I can say “I got what I paid for”! Thanks Lemons!!! AND they add a beautiful touch to sound :)
These beautiful babies showed up yesterday. I held off 24 hrs to open the box so that I had time to relish in the unveiling. The quality of work on these pieces of art is unbelievable! I can’t wait to install them in my ‘67 Chevelle BBC stroker after my motor finishes dyno tuning in about a month. These should make that 600+hp tire fryer breath with ease! You guys got guys knocked it out of the park with these! I will follow up after install with pics of the under-hood jewelry. Thanks for everything and great service this far!

I couldn't be happier with my headers, great fit for such huge primaries. Changing plugs is a breeze and the coating is really nice. Great communication and follow through from the sales team. Thanks everyone at Lemons!

*****Update:
I received a call from Jen at Lemons Headers and she was sincerely apologetic for the trouble with the coating issue. We have come to a mutual agreement to compensate me for having to have the headers refinished as well as informed me they are in process of making a change with respect to who coats their black finish headers in the future.
This is a great example of how customer service should be handled.
I recently bought my first set of Lemons Headers based on a referral from a reputable engine builder. I placed my order in December 2023 and was told I would have before the end of March 2024. As the end of March approached I had minimal contact and had to initiate all calls my self. I finally received them closer to the end of April which did not allow us to get the car finished in time for the NSRA Southeast Nationals. I had repeatedly informed Lemons of the intent to have this car at this event.
The headers seem to be built well but my biggest issue is with the coating which was far overpriced even if the job was done correctly. Lemons uses Capps Coatings and they did not apply the Cerakoat correctly. I was even told by Lemons the delay was due to Capps having difficulty applying the coating. I have extensive experience in the coating and finishing industry so was very disappointed with the results and had to another company refinish them.
Lemons has made no offer to address this issue other than we are sorry. I consider it money not well spent at this point.
Too bad as since I have retired I now build several of these cars for people as a side gig.

This is John schiavone from Chicago with a 1969 Chevy Camero. With a 615 cubic inch tall deck motor … a while back I needed a set of headers so I contacted Lemons Headers INC and spoke with Jenny about a new set of headers for my upcoming project , my old headers were a pain to change out the spark plugs it would have been about 2 1/2 hours to finish this project. So Jenny directed me in the right direction and got the right set of headers for my project.. low and behold I love my new headers , I did not realize how much I loved these headers for my car , but last Saturday I was getting ready for the car show in Houston Texas , went to start my car and the carburetor fuel stuck open and filled my cylinders with racing fuel would not allow me to turn the engine over. At this point I had to remove all the spark plugs so I can drain all of the fuel to fix the issue .. I was nervous in the back of my mind knowing normally how big of a job this will be , so I started the project and it ONLY took me 20 mins to pull all the spark plugs and was able to access them from the top with out going under the car . Took less than 20 minutes to put them back in after I was done cleaning them out. This was on Saturday night I couldn’t wait til Monday morning to call lemons headers inc promotional to speak with chuck about the great experience I had which help me relax and get my car ready for Houston. Big shout out to Lemons headers inc. for all there help and support . If any one is in Houston area over thanksgiving week come see how awesome they really are at the show.Thank youJohn schiavone from Chicago
