From the branch manger, Kathy, down to the 1-800-don’t call us for help service line, Mechanics Bank provides the worst customer service I have experienced in banking. Mechanic’s Bank does do one thing very well, they will nickel and dime you every chance they get.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! I deposit money into a certain account all the time but at another branch. The one time I decide to come to this branch I’m out of my deposit and now overdrawn on an account I have never been overdrawn on before. One problem is being delt with but that still leaves my deposit which the manager will not clear even though it was clearly a teller error.

I am reviewing the bank on Spring Street. I go in occasionally for transactions that I can't do via the ATM. I usually arrive around 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. There is always a long line and only two tellers working the counter inside. I have accounts at Wells Fargo and Pacific Premier, but I never have to wait as long as I do at Mechanics Bank. They need to get some more tellers in there. I am disappointed with the wait. I may have to move my money to another bank.

New ownership. Now they have poor customer service and they "nickel and dime" you with fees. There are plenty of better banks in town.

The employees in Paso have been great. BUT had to deal with the main office to access my online account. Absolutely the WORST customer service. Changing banks today!

Got charged a fee without my consent I did not know that I was on paper nor have I gotten my paper statement I'm new to this bank because Rabobank sold out again I'm leaving

Cheyenne is OUTSTANDING in customer service.. I'm completely shocked she is not higher up in this branch.. seems reading other review's you dont have managers who enjoy working with the public and take pride in what they do...She knows how to be assertive yet personable! Completely courteous and very helpful.

If I could give no stars I would. Anna (manager?) is so rude and evasive. I called 20 times and let it ring for 5 min each time and got no answer until finally she picked up and was the most rude person that I have dealt with. How can she be employed here?? She tried giving me financial advice while refusing to tell me whether or not they have my deposit. She took my number and then never called back. I hat to call another 20 times to get her again and then she told me I had to wait another 24 hours because she couldn’t do anything for me. Corporate directed me to call the branch and she basically gave me no information. This is the person we are trusting to manage our money that we work for? I could not even count on her to answer the phone. Do not bank here.

Ditto, the bank manager and her rules are rude and obstreperous. I have had nothing but great experiences with everybody else. Have been with that chain that keeps getting passed along forever. I to go Templeton.

This place is a disaster. Called 20 times total and the phone was answers twice. Woman named Anna who I think may be a manager(?) was totally rude and tried to give me financial advice and told my fiancé that our banking was "illegal" she told me to call whoever I wanted and I wouldn't get any help. She yelled and talked over me the entire call. Corporate directed me to this branch to find a deposit that they lost and they could not even confirm that I made one when I have the receipt. I will be following up with corporate again but need people to know the character of this branch during a pandemic

I went in with a problem to me was big and spoke with kathy...she looked at me like i was wasting her time not only that i was given a blank stare showing how d*** i was...she told me manager would call me and help me out...TO THIS DAY no word from any of them

Cheyenne is the best. She is courteous and efficient. I'm happy to be a customer ! Very knowledgeable and always helpful with any concerns or questions.
