Rasmussen Vineyards & Winery is a family-run, welcoming winery with a casual and fun vibe, not pretentious. The property is beautiful with vineyard views, located close to town off Linne Road, though the dirt road to get there is a little bit rough. The tasting room is fairly small and sparse, but there is a great outdoor space with a nice colorful seating selection. The winery offers free tastings, which is unheard of these days. The wine is extremely good, incredibly good, and great, with beautiful balanced quality flavor. Highlights include awesome reds like Merlot and Cabernet, a very unique and smooth Syrah, and outstanding white wines such as the Hedda and the unique Spectrum Blanc blend. Bottle prices run $24-$36, and a glass of wine is $8. The owners are kind, funny, knowledgeable, and welcoming, often sharing their wines and experiences. The experience is super fun and happy, sometimes with the wine maker himself pouring his creation. It is a very dog-friendly place, often with cute happy dogs roaming around. The overall atmosphere is relaxing, a place to sip, savor, and enjoy the view and wine.
No tasting fee!! Seriously such an enjoyable and laid back vibe. Wine was great and off the beaten path which felt more real than the standard wineries in the area.

We had a great visit at this family run tasting room. Great outdoor space and really dog friendly. Enjoyed their reds very much.
