I visited Didi at this beautiful yoga and retreat center in July 2022 and attended a few transformative retreats. Ananda Dhiira is truly a beautiful place to learn or deepen yoga and meditation practice. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and is just a short 10min walk from the amazing South Yuba River State Park. Didi also has a garden with yummy organic veggies and strawberries! A fabulous place for weekend getaway for those in the Bay Area. Be sure to also ask Didi for some tips on healthy Ayurvedic cooking! Highly recommended.

I spent a week here doing a juicing detox. It was such an amazing week! I was served three meals a day of juice. I was never hungry! Along with the internal cleansing we also did a spiritual cleansing with meditation three times a day. Every morning I had a yoga class. The Didis totally pampered me. I had the opportunity to get a massage, I got to use the outdoor portable sauna twice, we had facials, beautiful hiking down by the river, painted rocks, and was even given a henna tattoo. When all was said and done I weighed 9 pounds less than when I came, which was an extra bonus! I felt amazing when I left. I still continue doing juicing, along with the meditation. I highly recommend this detox program.
