Great community market. After COVID it's not as a happy place for it's team members. What changed? Very average type of grocery store but has so much potential to be well above average. Increase the standards which starts at the top!

It's so much more interesting to shop the aisles of Holiday than Safeway. Customers over the years have had input into this small co- operative.Many ideas about what to eat and cook fire up my imagination when I'm there.

It's an oasis in a food desert. Nothing around for miles. Good produce and the Stirling meats are really good and affordable. Also, the employees tolerate my attempts at humor and pretend that I'm funny! It's always a gas!
In 1962, Holiday Market established its first store on historic Front Street in Cottonwood, California. Today the company still has its headquarters on Front Street, taking pride in its small-town roots. There are now fifteen Holiday Market stores in Northern California and Southern Oregon, all of which are owned and operated by North State Grocery, Inc., an 100% Employee-Owned Company.
