Very nice habitat, vibe and good quality hiking trails. My only complaint is the lack of toilet facilities. They should at the very least put some porto-potties at the main parking lots.

Beautiful area in the spring and fall. I live in the area and it seems pretty obvious that the county and Wildlife program reeks of incompetence and corruption. It should be criminal how they have allowed the roads to become. The constant through traffic of visitors to the area with limited access has made road conditions even worse and a nightmare for us people that live in the community and have to use those roads on a daily basis to commute the wildlife conservation society that is in charge of this area needs to get their act together and maintenance our roads and open the access at spenceville road. It is public land it needs to be accessible to the public and the roads need to be properly maintained to do so.

4/8/23 - primitive camping area with no water or toilet. Lots of cows grazing locally, used by turkey hunters and others in the season.

Best hike around with swimming and lots of room for running your dogs. Water falls, swimming holes and cows to watch you hike. Stay safe!

Pitman pond was great no more snake. Still snakes off the path 50 yards or so but that not going to change its normal. 8/2/20 it was hot
