About Split Rail Family Farms

Split Rail Family Farm is a small family run farm located in Penngrove, Sonoma County in Northern California., Just north of Petaluma. We started the farm in 2009 and raise laying hens for sale to fill your backyard coops. We also raise and sell a small number of Nubian, Mini Nubian and Nigerian dwarf goats!

    Hens of 3 different breeds purchased this June have been wonderfully entertaining backyard hens as well as reliable layers. From the first communication over the phone and in later consultations Jane has been a good listener and gave good advice.     We got some great 3 month old chickens here, they were in great health and the family raising them is very nice and helpful! A +, highly recommend!!!
