“Every time I am in Pescadero I stop by this store, because it is so inviting and has such beautiful and unique items. However, I am often on my bike when I'm in town, and I visit less when I can't shop or carry purchases. Yesterday I was riding with a group and one of the cyclists was stranded in an area with no cell signal and a flat on a gel tire that we were unable to fix. We were 5 miles from Pescadero, the nearest town. The group rode into town to get help and frankly did not know where to turn. But I realized that Luna Sea was open and I went to ask if they could give me advice. Janice, the owner, informed me that there is now a bike store in town--new to me!--and they were able to assist our rider, who, it turned out, had been able to flag down a pickup. Soon he and his bike were reunited with the group. When I went to update Janice, she said that if we could not get any other help, she had planned to close her shop--on a busy Saturday afternoon!--to pick up our friend. I was gobsmacked, and really touched. Turns out Luna Sea not only has great merchandise but also a great owner! Go spend your money there--I know I will, next time I am in the area.”
“Fall public morning hike. Excellent informative three hours led by Danny Goldberg. Fun facts about geography and the plants. A few good pieces. Place is a little run down. Main space available for event rental.”
