Au Thentic is a beautiful, lovingly restored space in downtown, one of the most favorite shops for many. It is a cool spot with a beautiful curation of local products and gems like antique airplane chairs, a grand piano, and a springbok. The business features an incredible, second-to-none selection of designer eyewear and sunglasses, which is the wonderful excuse for the venue. It also offers a great jewelry selection, modern and dainty, and exceptionally well-crafted leather goods. The whole team is so helpful, welcoming, friendly, and genuinely nice, often offering complimentary services like cleaning glasses or eyewear styling sessions. The environment is welcoming with no pressure, perfect for finding gifts or treating yourself, with very reasonable prices for the quality. There is even a DJ in the evening.

The team was so helpful, welcoming and just genuinely nice. When we walked in, they offered to clean our sunglasses while we walked around. No pressure, just a gesture that was kind and unique.
We ended up talking to the owner, buying a few great gifts items and will certainly be back!
