“These guys are great!!! I found a baby squirrel with his eyes still shut today on the job. I do creek patrol. The little squirrel who I named little buckaroo was on the ground and this guy who was there as I walked up was poking him with a stick. He left when I walked up, I suspect because I'm in my uniform plus I moved in between him and the squirrel, Anyway, I looked around for mama squirrel for about 20 minutes but nothing, so I got gloves and picked him up and put him on a tree which he struggled to hold himself there so I put him in my hand and he curled up.I searched online and called Sonoma County Wildlife and Rescue and after sending them pictures of the squirrel, which they needed to confirm it was actually a squirrel, they responded with, we need him ASAP, so I headed straight there and and did the intake paperwork, left a donation for his care and I was on my way. They gave me an intake number so I will be able to check up on his progress which I will do. The cool thing is he's safe and when he's strong enough and healthy, they will be taking him and releasing him back to the location I found him. I really appreciate SCWR for their services that they do for wildlife❤️ much love to you guys ❤️”
“This is by far Petaluma's best thrift store, and for a noble cause. Christmastime is amazing! Get there as soon as they hit the floor. I've purchase some of my favorite clothes there!”
“We love Giant Steps!! My son has only been to one session, and I have already seen so much progress. His anxiety often keeps him from trying new activities. I was worried that being with these huge animals might be too much. Over the weeks though, with the gentle guidance of the staff, his confidence has soared! He is so proud of his courage to take new risks and his newfound success. He adores his instructor and his sweet horse "therapist". I can't wait to see what develops next session.”
“I found a place that I can share about my struggles and have like minded individuals offer me support through my struggles, then I get to help the next person that walks in looking for the same support. This place is not perfect and therefore accommodates anyone from all walks of life. Highly recommend.”
“I was a punk on the streets and at 22, my then girlfriend was homeschooling me from the UCSF Psych Dept in 1975. I did this process which I call #THP and back in 1975 after doing this incredible self Deprogramming, I found that vein of gold, the Engrams/Triggers of my unconscious behavior.”
