Vicky in the beauty dept. is the main reason I shop at CVS. Vicky knows her products and is willing to take the time to share with me her expertise. She finds the best products for my skin type and budget. Hands down, CVS is lucky to have such a great employee. Troy is also a great employee. He is extremely polite and very efficient. CVS is lucky to have such professionals.

Rick was very personable and accommodating with a hello, welcome in, can I support you with finding anything?. I noticed he welcomed each person in offering support, too. Excellent service. Thank you!

Shocked at the many negative reviews, but those were related to pharmacy, inoculations and telephone responsiveness. We came in to get some prescriptions filled and it was a fine experience. Especially as we were from out of state. But, CVS is networked, so the meds our doctor ordered in SC were there on the system and we were able to get and pay for them as if we were home. And the staff was very helpful.

Horrible, I was on hold for 30 minutes for my child's medication, then then picked up the phone and immediately hung up. Horrible service.

Worst pharmacy ever. I wish I could give it 0 stars. Pharmacist is rude and no help at all. Go somewhere else if you can.

After at least a dozen visits, my experience with CVS in Petaluma is the worst customer service I've ever seen. Employees sit in the back chatting together while 20 customers are waiting - they won't open another register. It's one of those places you can tell they feel like they feel adversarial towards the customers. As unhelpful and nasty as possible - and the consistency of this bad service is shocking - why doesn't management fix it?

Not a great pharmacy. I was trying to get my flu and COVID shot, but they were having issues trying to look up my insurance. One lady there 'found' my account before telling me I wasn't covered. I asked her to try a different number that that primary account holder had given me and she refused to even try the number, instead she just kept repeating she 'found' my account and that I was not covered. (it was probably an old account from a different insurance before we got our current insurance.) I asked her to just try the different number I had and she just refused to take the extra minute it would have taken to type in the numbers to check. So I called a different CVS Pharmacy (The one in Target on Kenilworth Dr) and had them check and it turned out it was the correct number and I was fully covered. If I had been getting something for almost no money I wouldn't be complaining, but right now the COVID vaccine is $190 and flu $60, so it was really important that I be able to use my insurance and yet that lady couldn't be bothered to to even check, even when I repeatedly asked her to. AVOID THIS PHARMACY IF YOU CAN! The one in Target on Kenilworth Dr is only a few blocks away from this one and the people there seem more willing to help.

Don't know, about low reviews, guess it depends on the time people visit. I only used pharmacy twice, it was fine, but I go at near closing time for them. *The CVS where I lived was open 24/7 and still had problems during the day. The rest of the store shopping here was a good experience. With most clerks it's a big turnover, they are young, or in school working part time, they move on or get fired. Try and go at night if possible.*One issue with self checkout, it's not available all hours and you can not check out alcohol or anything requiring ID.

Husband is a dentist. Tried calling in a prescription for a patient in pain on a Friday night, prescription was for an antibiotic. Pharmacists would not take prescription over the phone and was incredibly rude. Her name was Azi.

Check out person was mad that I didn't want to self check out. He chomps his gum in my face. He didn't offer me a bag. I had to ask. He didn't thank me. Just a rude experience

People, do respect but with any chain pharmacy it depends on the time you pick up RX's. Try to stay away during rush hours or daytime on weekends, some deliver now using 3rd party. Being an ex- Pharmacy Tech, it's not an easy job. Lots of calls for refills, people checking their RX's, doctors calling in, people are sick, we have to check these RX's out. The DEA has made it difficult. You must have a pharmacy tech license to be behind there and a pharmacist or Ph. Asst. must be present at all times when you are checking people out. Sure, some people are not feeling well and want in and out service. I would of loved to have help at checkout, but that's corporate for you with cuts. Take it up with them and complain directly to corporate.

I went in. CVS to have a poster made today. Although the printer didn't want to cooperate, I have to thank Rick so much for his perseverance and patience. He was great and I really appreciated his efforts. CVS should be grateful to have such an employee. Thanks again Rick!

I came into the store today and requested to see the manager. I got to speak to a staff member named Rick. I explained that the reading glasses (purchased for $32 from their store) had one of the arms come off due to a screw popping out (I brought it to an optician assistant on the other side of town but the solution wasn't as easy as replacing the screw due to the spring mechanism -- in other words, it's disposable now). Rick was happy to replace the glasses with a new one, citing "they aim to provide ease and customer satisfaction". I'm a happy camper! Thanks CVS!

I normally avoid going to this CVS at all costs, and today was yet another reminder of why. I asked an employee standing behind the front counter if this register was open, and he proceeded to say, “well you could do self checkout, but guess you’re here now…”Couldn’t believe he could be so rude and blatantly not want to do his job.
