WOWSERS, I have to admit that Jill gave me the best cut and style I have EVER received in ALL of Petaluma. I can not stop laughing at how beautiful I feel right now. I walked out of Dukes and Dolls turning heads. I haven't felt this good about myself in so long. I'm stunned and at a loss for words at how good it feels to be me right now. This Salon has true masters at their craft.
The environment is wonderful. It actually feels like everyone is a friend to each other and extends that friendship to you. If you have been to toxic salon environments, sick of the awkward feeling of being just "okay" with a cut, come to this salon. They will have you strutting out the door.
Thank you so much to Jill for the incredible cut, style, and advice. Thank you to Dukes and Dolls Salon for having elite professionals and creating a wonderful atmosphere.

Best place in town!!!!, Patrick is a great stylus and gives a great haircut. I will say that I have tried 4 places in town and Dukes and Dolls is the best by far, they have great service and are very friendly, they event let my dog come in and chill.

Patrik is a lifesaver! He always manages to squeeze me in and he makes my sad hair beautiful and shiny again. I love this salon and everyone who works here, it's so comfortable adorable and everyone is friendly. Watch out for the overzealous parking police. Be sure to check out the delicious bakery next door.

At Dukes and Dolls, everyone is so kind. The offer you water coffee if you are early or having a hair treatment. They make you feel right at home. I've been coming there for about 2 years, maybe a little longer. I was really happy to find such a great place and my stylist is amazing as well as the rest of the staff there. ❤️ Would recommend going and making an appointment.

I was visiting my best friend who lives in Petaluma. I was in need of a haircut and decided to risk going to someone I had never been to before. I emailed Dukes and Dolls to see if they had anyone who knew how to cut curly hair...not many stylists know how...and they booked me an appointment with Stephanie, the only one who has curly hair herself. So, while I was only there for two days, I bit the bullet and took a leap of faith. I can honestly say that Stephanie gave me the BEST haircut I have ever had!!! She knew exactly how to work with curly hair, and my only problem now is that I live in Southern CA and have to wait for my next trip to Northern CA to see her again. Thanks, Stephanie. See you soon!

Angelina was wonderful. Exceedingly gentle from start to finish, very compassionate, and thorough in trying to understand my scalp issues that I was having trouble articulating - she asked all the right questions and was not judgmental. She is very wise, respectful of my hair goals, and did some extra styling to my hair at the end that gave me some much needed (and long forgotten) confidence. I will absolutely go back to see her when I need a trim in a few months. She is a smart girl, she has magic hands and gives a heavenly scalp massage, and she made me feel incredibly comfortable.

Angelina is the best, I always leave her chair loving my hair and feeling beautiful. She is kind, she listens, she knows what she's doing and knows just what your hair needs, especially when it comes to color! I've been going to Angelina for exactly 2 years now, so happy I found her! Side note: the scalp massage she does during your shampoo is heavenly.

I wish I could give this 0 stars. I booked an appointment at Dukes and Dolls for the first time to get a ombré balayage and brought all these photos for reference. Keep in mind my hair was about 18-19 inches long. When I sat in the chair, a women named Jill came to me because she was the hair stylist assigned to me. I told her and showed her with my fingers about 2 inches and before any sort of wash or anything she proceeded to cut off 5 inches of my hair. At this point I looked at the floor and saw how much she took off and almost started crying, I was in shock and disbelief at what she did. She said to me that I was to old to carry long hair and that it was dead and "needed" to come off. I wanted to walk out. She then started to apply the color to my hair which took about 2 hours till complete. She had to redo the toner twice and it was a big hassle. She said "you're the reason I need a glass of wine because you're anxious." I stayed there for 2 hours and was on the verge of crying the entire time. This women did not know at all what she was doing. The color came out green and gray although I had asked for blonde color ombré. She took a towel and tried smearing it out. At this point my hair was completely destroyed. Dry, bleached, splotches on the back, unevenly cut and 5 INCHES shorter than when I walked in. The next day I texted Jill and showed her all the photos before I had come and after what she did and asked kindly for a 250$ refund, but she replied with saying that she had not done anything wrong and that the process was not a one step procedure, which I wasn't at all informed or aware of. Yet I would why I want to go back to someone who had butchered and humiliated me. I had to redo all my hair and spend another 300$+ to redo the color and cut. This had happened a few months ago and I am just now coming to terms with it. I have to do extensions and everything. The manager never had the guts to call me back after I had left many voicemails. All I have to say is never ever come to this unprofessional, heinous, joke of a salon. Do yourself a favor and never get your hair done here. They don't know what they are doing. Angelina knows hair. She's the only one who I've let touch my hair in years. Angelina has done color, highlights, and cuts for me - every time is enjoyable and relaxing from beginning to end. I am very conscious of quality customer service, and it is rare - especially in the hair business. She's attentive, kind, caring, gives a killer scalp massage, and has provided me with gorgeous and health locks. My mom is also a regular client of Angelina's, and we'll follow her anywhere and continue to recommend her to everyone.

I go to Angelina who is lovely and chill. She listens and also makes subtle suggestions that help you achieve the look you are going for. For me that's always more volume. In general, the salon is friendly and easy to make an appointment online. Everyone looks good and happy on the way out.
