I am an artist with master's degree in art and over 45 years of experience. My artworks have received a number of awards, internationally and domestic. I spent 40 years in New York, ran a creative design firm for over 25 years. I have visited numerous art galleries on the East Coast. I now live in Petaluma for the last four years. Three years ago I visited Gallery One of Western Aveue in Petaluma, and again this year. I was shocked to see extremely high prices! Most of them kooked like prints and not original. The quality of art was OK. When I tried to talk to the person (who said he was the owner), he was very rude. There are many other art galleries on Petaluma Blvd., and the First Street. I urge visitors to visit those gallaries first before you buy anything in the Gallery One.

Michael has a vast array of beautiful items. There are gorgeous pieces of glass work, metal sculptures and pottery pieces. He features many local artists, which I like as you are supporting Sonoma county. Additionally there are out of state one of a kind pieces. My favorite by far is the selection of jewelry from earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and men's pieces! I find gorgeous gifts for friends and gift wrap is lovely! Make it a point to drop in, you won't be disappointed !! Local art also rotates . Truly Petaluma's finest shop.
