Very impressed with Petaluma store as they have a wide selection of jewelry tools which I have been unable to find at other locations. Having Hands-On to see a product is so much nicer than viewing it online. The cheerful and helpful staff there is awesome and Miriam has helped me two different times teaching me something new in the self-checkout lane‼️

As an artist (you can see a lot of my art on Google maps) I wouldn't be able to be as prolific, or as effective as an artist without Michaels. I am a member, and I use the app to get great prices, and there is always a discount for me. This is my favorite one too.

They don't have any plastic model cars airplanes rockets and other big lots of other stuff that guys aren't really interested in but that's very understandable and the like

Really cute spring collection and great deals at 40% off. Bonus is there's on site parking and carts that actually go all the way out to your car. They have a huge variety of arts and crafts products and if you love plants like I do-- they have a great botanical section as well.

Michael’s is good when you know what you are going in to get. Otherwise you end up getting crafts, brushes, necklace making kits etc;You can spend hours there. But I do appreciate this store.

Only.place I go to for my oil paints and brushes. Lots of other selections for crafts there also.

The fine arts section is disorganised and frequently out of stock for the items I need (pens, markers, etc.). Their store brand, Artist Loft, is replacing a once wide choice of brands and is low quality. This location recently installed self-checkout machines. I politely asked one of the young employees to be checked out by a living person instead of a robot and she became frustrated with me and angrily told me to call Michaels to complain there. She also said that if I didn't want to use a self-checkout in the future, that no other employee would come out to help me. Then she proceeded to help other people behind me who didn't ask for a person either. WOW! It seems they are understaffed or not trained well. I feel devalued as a regular customer to this Michaels. It's sad to see that they don't even value their own employees too because they're replacing them with robots.
