It takes a whole lot for me to bother writing a review, but this one deserved it. I set my appointment with them as instructed, and received an automated text from them with a link to confirm/reschedule. As it turned out, I was able to go early, so I hopped on their link to change the time, but the website doesn't work. I then responded to the text (which it said to do) that I would be there a hour early. no response. When I got there I was the only person in the store. the man behind was clearly not happy to see me. He immediately let me know I was a hour early, which I agreed and explained I had both tried to reschedule but their website didnt work, to which he gave the excuse his "boss messed with the website all day" and then explained to me that he was very busy, even though I was the only one there. I offered to come back late, he said he would try to help now. I explained what the issue was, why apple had referred me to them to look at my AirPods and he promptly let me know he would be charging me $35 if he even looked at them and that most likely it would cost at least $99 to get a replacement case. He was extremely unhelpful and rude, clearly doesn't like his job nor people in general. It was obvious he had zero desire to actually try to help, so I said never mind, and turned to leave. The building is super old and the door doesn't have any resistance, so when I opened it, it swung wide open and I turned to catch it but it was too late regardless of me already apologiving. he leapt out of his chair screaming at me to get out and not come back and was very agro and very intimidating. Go literally ANYWHERE ELSE, but do not bother coming here.

Poor customer service. They try to get you to log in and pay before you arrive. Then if you don't, they hand you the ipad when you get there. They won't 'look at it' or talk to you until you pay the service fee. The basic is 19.99, $49.99 with water damage. I had no water damage but he insisted I pay $49.95. before talking to me. He was surly and unfriendly and I ended up walking out snd going to Apple. trying to save a trip to Santa Rosa or Corte Madera and give local store my business, but just couldn't do it.

Took in my Mac for repair, it cost over $1000.00 to fix. When I got it back the computer was barely working. I should have taken it back in then and there but I had a huge project that was time sensitive so I limped it through the project. I just ended up getting a new computer so I ultimately ended up spending twice as much as necessary.

Service in Petaluma store is horrible, guy in a very bad mood. Super upset because I went for my girlfriends phone and not her. I had all the details and my girlfriend didn't call because she was super busy, I mean we are in USA people work 3 jobs. And it's part of customer service let your clients know the rules or business expectations. Customer don't need to hear a person complaining about it, we didn't know. If you are the owner you should shut down and find something else. If you are an employee you need to find something else, customers pay for your rent or paycheck. Very poor service.

I've used Mobile Kangaroo Petaluma a couple of times now. Great service, really knowledgable staff. Very friendly and accommodating. I can see why they are Apple certified! Will definitely use again! Highly recommended.

Do not go to this store under any circumstance as it is a complete fraud! They look up your account and then charge you for a service/fee diagnostic without doing any work whatsoever. I was told I had to pay full price if I wanted the service since i had no insurance - I called Apple and I have the insurance and immediately have it being fixed at no cost with another authorized dealer.

Shaun was able to troubleshoot my device and help me get my phone back up and working while on my lunch break. He was friendly, quick and got me on my way. Do recommend.

Shawn is a life saver, I dropped my IPad while on vacation and found this place near where I was staying. He was patient and answered all my questions and was able to get it fixed before my flight out of town. I highly recommend him for your repairs. Thanks again!

Would not let me plug in my computer with a new charger (that I just got from work to test but did not have time to test at home prior to appointment bcs I had JUsT come from work) prior to paying them a 20$ diagnostic fee. Then told me it was the charger and that we STILL had to go to Santa Rosa Apple Store. Don't waste your time or money. Total rip off

This was my third time using this shop. As always, the service was stellar. Shawn knows his stuff and goes out of his way to diagnose and fix issues as quickly as possible. Very easy and pleasant to work with.

Appointment. ipad. For my battery was draining fast. . Looked at it. He noted i had a cracked screen Said nothin cud be done. Looked up a replacement cost. $19 for 3 to 5 minutes. i said but dont i get a "diagnosis" for the $19. he said that was the diagnosis: looking at the screen giving me a replacement cost. Said he couldn't work for free. Not sure I'm complaining. I am sure I am shocked

Shawn got my MacBook Pro battery replaced and touch screen repaired faster than I expected, and it feels like a new computer. If I'd known it was going to be this quick and easy, I wouldn't have limped along for so long. And, heck, if I'd known it was going to be this quick I'd have had it repaired early rather than buying a new computer to replace it first.I will no longer be tempted to let myself limp along for far too long, making do with broken technology.

Hard to believe this place (Petaluma store) is Apple Authorized. Had to pay a bogus diagnostic fee up front before even seeing a tech. Then, when arriving the store was closed during the day. Waited around for someone to show up for my appointment then was told the estimated cost was $330 to replace a battery on a MacBook Air - Extortion much? Plus they'd need to keep it for 3-5 days. Did I mention the space is super sketchy and has a weird smell. Yeh, NO. Never again. Diagnostic fee was kept despite not doing ANY assessment.UPDATE: Same day, found a legitimate repair place that was able to install in 15 minutes - no keeping my computer - and guess what the cost was? $130 OUT THE DOOR.

Have an iphone XR which works well, but battery life had seriously degraded. Kangaroo put in a replacement battery, took about an hour and a half, and now battery life is back to awesome. A great experience for me. It's not an amazing store front, but the service was really good.
