“Bob and his associate Demetrius assembled and installed 7 tall cabinets in my garage. They were excellent to work with. Came on time, had attention to detail, worked diligently and were pleasant the whole time. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Orchid & Crate for a move or other related work.”
“Did a tricky move from LA to Sonoma County with 2 trucks. Both homes up steep narrow hillsides. One unpaved. Have to shout out to Ron and Dan who drove down from Petaluma and lead the move team in LA, then drove the trucks up north and lead the unpacking. They both went above and beyond all the way around. Without them it would not have happened. Overall, the rest of the Robb Messner team was good, but afew things you should watch out for. If you're moving somewhere with limited accessibility, make sure they visit that location ahead of time to assess needs. They said they would do this but they didn't, and the trucks got stuck halfway up our driveway and it took a bit to get them all the way up. In terms of packing, it was well worth them packing heavy items such as large mirrors and artwork, but when it came to some random small items we had them pack, we were unhappily surprised to find a number of boxes were packed with only one item. You pay per box and this was just wrong. If you book early, best to check in afew days ahead of time and review the plan with them, this would have helped with some miscommunication that happened on our first day. It all got straightened out though and overall they are a solid company that I would use again.”
