I've shopped at Nan Winters many times, and it's always a good experience. The service is friendly and helpful without being pushy at all. I've purchased several gifts. Nan's jewelry is especially beautiful. Great little shop in Petaluma!

Almost didn't leave a review since they already have so many great ones...but yes, I agree, Nan's store is awesome! Came on a Wednesday so Nan wasn't there, I was helped by Joy, who is pretty awesome too. I was looking for a nice dress, but not formal, told her what I was comfortable in and my favorite colors. I picked a few and she did as well. There were 2 other women shopping as well, over 50 like me, and Joy found time to help us all and was so friendly, helpful and fun. I actually had a good time. Oh! She also showed me some dresses from the sale rack. Its not an inexpensive store, I appreciated that she didn't just ASSUME I didn't want to see the sale dresses too. I never got any pushy vibe either.... I ended up with a dress that I just LOVE...perfect! If you need a nicer dress and appreciate some attention, I highly recommend this shop! Best dress store in Sonoma County!!!

I was peering in the window after the shop had closed but Nan invited me in as she was tidying up. She offered to let me try something on but as it was a very hot afternoon and there were too many beautiful & fashionable items (the Indian block light cotton fabric really caught my eye), I told her I would return although I live about 1 hr away. Thank-you Nan, for your gracious welcome. Will surely make it back. Although I didn't but anything (yet), I'm giving Nan Winters 5 stars for excellent taste and a fantastic customer experience.

I always love shopping at Nan Winters store! She truly has some cool stuff! Did some shopping there this week and found 4 fantastic pieces that are so comfortable! Nan picks out really beautiful pieces and I loved visiting with her while shopping! Such a great store and happy shopping experience! Treat yourself to one thing, you will be back for more, I promise! It's that good!

Nan has a wonderful selection of dresses. I was looking for a simple yet unique dress for my elopement and didn't feel comfortable going to a typical bridal shop. Nan creates such a comfortable atmosphere and help me find the perfect dress. It was very reasonably priced and fit right off the rack! It was absolutely perfect for my Napa elopement. I don't know what I would have done without Nan!

Super rude to my partner. He asked a question and they were very condescending to him for no reason. They treated me differently though...I think they don't like men.

Beautiful and unique earrings! There's be also a lot of apparel and accessories made by local brands. It's a small store with great selection.

I really liked the selection of Pj’s and robes that were available in the holiday season. I also bought my mom a beautiful pair of pearl earrings. It’s a small and cute shop with style.

Nan's partner does not believe in respecting copyright laws and steals work from other artists, creators, and makers without remorse. If you respect the rights of artists, makers, and creators shop somewhere else.

I absolutely love this shop! The owner is the sweetest woman you will ever meet, and the dresses are fantastic. I have had the pleasure to purchase my prom dress here and years later my wedding dress! I can say enough good things about this place

Nan is passionate about fine fabrics and has the most unique wedding dresses - silk instead of polyester, hand made instead of factory made - real treasures and at competitive pricing. She has years of experience and shopping with her is a pleasure. Her store is also full of Johnny Was - true Boho Wine Country elegance!

I have nothing but good things to say about Nan. I bought my beautiful wedding dress here, and after a long engagement I started to second guess my choice. I called Nan and told her my wedding was in less than two weeks, and she invited me in to try on dresses again. She helped me with several different styles and gave me amazing advice on the matter. I ended up deciding to stick with my original dress from her, but was so relieved that had I changed my mind I had options and I knew Nan would have been there for me. All in all shopping with Nan is the smartest decision you can make for your wedding! Unique dresses, extremely reasonable prices, and the best customer service you're likely to find.
