The Great Petalluma Mill, also known as Wild Goat, is a hidden treasure with a lovely, homey atmosphere and nice energy, though it can be noisy. The menu is awesome and consistently creative, with many gluten-free choices. Dishes are all spot on, from the very good beet salad and delicious Mediterranean pizza to the praised fig and pig pizza, pork belly, mushroom soup, and burgers. The mushroom soup is noted as the best ever. Save room for dessert. Service is great, friendly, and efficient, with quick orders and drinks and hot food delivered fast. They offer local beer and good wine recommendations. There is an outdoor area best for warm weather. It is a wonderful find that never disappoints, and customers have been returning for years.
I liked the vibe of this collection of shops and stores. I wish more of the shops would have been open during the week since we visited on a Wednesday.

We at Wild Goat Bistro as a part of our anniversary celebration. The food was great. The service was first class. It's not fancy, but it is very comfortable. Really enjoyed the house soup.

Great apps, but incongruous entrees that made no sense. Ribs were overcooked. Salad was meh. Need some more conventional entrees to highlight the chef and kitchen. Problem is the menu, not the staff.
