“My back passenger window was broken on my 2022 Honda Accord. I immediately contacted Safelite who quoted $561 and couldn’t fix it until two days later. I then contacted a second provider who quoted me $279 but also couldn’t provide the replacement until two days later. “I initially got an appointment with Safelite and my insurance had sent me to Caliber. The quotes I received for those were $849 and $729 respectively. My wife did some research and found Doctor Auto Glass and they quoted me at $400. I was initially suspicious but Googling, review diving, and going through Reddit - I found that they were pretty trustworthy.
I am so grateful to my wife for finding them, the service was fast, I would have had to taken a whole day off with the others. Dr Auto Glass finished it within an hour. Enough time for me to go on a walk and grab lunch. The windshield seemed "oddly" placed to me initially - like the top part was not under the rubber but - I honestly cannot confirm if that was initially the case from stock. I tried looking at other windshields on other cars and yeah - some of them were under the rubber seal others were not, it was 50/50 so I am chalking that up to me not being observant. It is not DEAD center, maybe a few millimeters more to the driver side but its such a nitpick on my part, I literally had to get a ruler to verify.
I wanted to be sure I mentioned those as they aren't deal breakers, it just stood out to me. With that said, the seal is amazing, no win noise, excellent clarity, honestly I sounded negative in the previous paragraph but that was just to ensure all details are accounted for. I would go back to Dr Auto Glass every time now. The price is unbeatable. The people were friendly. The work is extremely solid. This is a great business and the results speak for themselves - highly recommended and they will be my go to for all future incidents and cars!”
“Rising Star fixed my axles, lower ball joints, and other misc. concerns very quickly and professionally. When it became apparent that they had to fix the lower ball joints, Ang even called me over to take a look at it so that I could be completely informed about the extra cost. Their diligence and professionalism ensured that I could take a long road trip with no worries.

I brought my car in because no place in Compton had material to get my cars glass made. I couldn’t reach these guys over the phone so they were last on my list to go to after everyone said they had no material. Showed up and in less than 10 mins the glass was made and installed! Amazing timing! The old school methods I’m happy they used because it’s how we did it back in the day! The price was super fair for what others were charging me! Left a 20$ tip due to how well these guys did my car! Thank you gentlemen all my car club members will be knowing of the business soon!”

“You rarely get service like this in LA : I called in panicked on my way back from my toddler’s daycare with my back glass windshield broken so bad it was marbled into a million pieces (held together by the glass tint layer!) and about to collapse.
What happened - I had just slammed my trunk onto a hard object that I accidentally placed where the glass meets the trunk. And when I called Adolfo in a panic he paused all his jobs to rush back and fix it for me so I could safely go back to my child’s daycare to pick her up - the glass was holding by a thread and could have easily collapsed on her since the back seat is just below the glass. Thank god for people like this. ♡”
