Can't lie....Moved away three years ago. My favorite local restaurant. Reminded me of home in the Bronx, NY seventy years ago. Home cooking, real people servers. So looking forward to dinner Saturday! (4-13-2024)

Hidden behind the hamburger sign, is a lovely local restaurant. The place has plenty of seats for the population of the town, and enough to handle skiers.A lot of locals hangout at this spot and it is quite lively on the weekends.Food wise is what one would expect from a small town. The price you pay is not bad for a four course meal. Not bad to stop by if you are hungry.

Gianinni's is a warm and inviting restaurant with marvelous food served family style. Having eaten there several times I have never had anything I didn't find yummy!

Old school Italian restaurant. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was great. The polenta had just the right amount of cheese. The bread was hot and fresh. The salad was nicely dressed and the raw peppers added another level of flavor without being overbearing. Pretty sure the delicious soup was homemade. Pasta was cooked perfectly. I'll definitely be coming back.

The place reminds me of the 80's. Very nice staff. The bread and soup are great. Pesto sauce is the best sauce by far. The red meat sauce is good also. Lasagna was great. Spicy shrimp was really bad. Small shrimp and bland flavor.

Our family drives 1 hour to go to this restaurant ! Wonderful authentic Italian food! This is how dinner is traditionally served in Italy. Polenta, salad, soup, home cured olives, if you are lucky, and fantastic warm sour dough and THEN comes the entre!! Bring your appetite!Parking: Easy restaurant designated parkingKid-friendliness: Very family oriented

I really really love this place, I wish I could come back for more. The dishes come in courses, and they serve soup, salad, breads, appetizer for free.My favorite dishes are tasty minestrone and ravioli. However the portion is wayyyy out of control, I feel bad wasting my food, really.

We were very disappointed overall. Although we had a group of 12, there were only 4-5 other tables occupied with 4 people per table, and the dining room was maybe 1/4 full. The waitresses were friendly but the food disastrous. To start with, it was 30 mins before the polenta arrived and it was cool, not even warm on the inside, but the marinara sauce was good. 45 minutes later the minestrone soup was served and was very strong, concentrated and acidic, vegetables in it were good, but the broth was not. Several in our group didn't eat it. The pasta Carbonara sauce was good but not enough of it so the dish was dry. We received our entrees after being there for and hour and 40 minutes. The chicken piccata and the chicken scallopini sauces were both ok, but the chicken was tough and tasteless, seemed boiled and over cooked. When we sent one of the chicken dishes back, they still wanted to charge us for it, but we were adamant that we wouldn't pay for it, and after some back and forth, they removed it from the bill. The other chicken dish only had a few bites eaten as well. By the time we got out of there, it had been nearly 2 1/2 hours and that was with no cocktails, wine or dessert. None of our group will be going back.
