THIS IS THE WORST ,PLACE EVER,NANCY ANSWERS PHONE AND IS SO RUDE ,THEY MADE A MISTAKE ON MY RETURN AND NO ONE EVER CALLS ME BACK THIS IS GOING ON A YEAR AND STILL NO REFUNd AND WAS TOLD TODAY MAKE APPOINTMENT IN 2 WEEKS,UNBELIEVABLE VERY POOR WORTH ETHICS AND NO KNOWLEDGE OF TAXES!! IM DEVASTATED, I HAVE NEVER INDURED ANYTHING LIKE THIS!! I HAVE USED H&R BLOCK ALL MY LIFE,BUT WILL NEVER AGAIN!! LOOKING INTO BETTER BUSSINESS BUREAU AND ANY ORGANIZATIONS TO REPORT THEM TODAY!! BEWARE BEWARE!!!

This is the worst experience we’ve ever had getting our taxes done! We met with Michael, and let’s just say he doesn’t seem like a people person. We presented everything to him and discussed specifics. We never heard back and called nearly 4 weeks later to find that Michael hadn’t even prepared our taxes yet! Nancy, the office assistant, said that she would move our taxes “from the back of his box” so he would prepare them next. Again, we heard nothing and had to call the office for the status. Finally got a call from Michael who told us we were getting a refund of $17,000! We were shocked, that doesn’t happen to us!! Called Michael back and he said he “got the solar done”, so that’s why we got a big refund. We didn’t get solar put on our house!!! (We had old solar panels removed from our home after damage from snow storms!!)Then he “fixes our papers” and says we owe the IRS $1700, we’re getting $3400 from the state and says we owe him $440!! We go in to sign the papers and I inquired why we had to pay such a high fee and he lowered it to $344. Then we wait nearly another 4 weeks with no electronic refund. I called the office again and Nancy said that our filing was in Michaels box and had not been released! So here we are needed our refund and he hadn’t even released it!!!!This is the most unprofessional and unorganized office ever! Never! Never! will we never go here again!

We had an appointment for March 22,2023 at 2:00 pm and when we showed up they said leave your paperwork and it would be 2 weeks before they do your return and its April 12, 2023 and still no return done and its just a simple EZ two person return ! Whats up HR Block

I usually do my taxes on their website however with so many life events I decided it would be best to have someone do them for me. Dropped off all my info (due to covid) they set the expectation I would get a call within 2 weeks which is exactly what happened! He called and shared an update and said he would call me back the following week which he did! My tax person provided me with all the info one thing I loved is he kept asking do you have any questions, I wasn't really asking anything so for him to ask me multiple times I appreciated that. I set a date to come in and sign everything, and got my refund super quick. I will for now on being have them file my taxes vs doing online.

This is our third year of expert knowledge by Mary Louise Nixon and her staff, and at my age, 75 yrs old, never had as excellent and accurate tax returns to the IRS. Considering the virus, it is amazing and appreciated.
