A beautiful visit, well-done & respectful homage to the still-living native culture. The South Nature Trail is barely half a mile of easy yet widely-varying topography through the oak forest, a quick, family-friendly mini-hike.

The museum offers an impressive insight into the sad history of the native americans.Unfortunately, you feel a bit lost in the outdoor area.

I had the pleasure of visiting during the annual Chaw'se celebration, and it was so beautiful. The Grinding Rock and Roundhouse are incredible, and the entire area holds a very sacred energy. The visitor center and museum is also top notch, a wonderful place to learn honest history of Northern California, and a selection of excellent books (I bought 2!).

My parents used to bring me here every year when I was a child and this time I came on a field trip for my kids. It was the first time I had a guide and it was so interesting. The entire place is very peaceful and neat to walk around learning about the history.

We had a Girl Scouts troop here camping this past weekend. Great camping spots with good amount of space. The only negative was you can hear cars going by on the street that gets you there. Other than that, this place is clean and a perfect little getaway from the city. They really do a great job with the grounds. Keep the great work!
