Supermarkets near Pine Valley, CA

“So, for anyone making the roadtrip from AZ to the San Diego area, I'm pretty sure most of you are failing yourself and those traveling with you for not taking a brief time away from the wheel and pulling off of I-8 at the Pine Valley exit! YOU all are missing one of the greatest pitstops that shouts Americana! And that means the experience is such a hoot!

Hungry or not, stop in at Mountain Super Market! Its' a community store for this area but it's so much more! Fresh sandwiches, baked goods and PIZZA! Buy the whole pie or by the slice! For anyone (like myself) who swears by the pepperoni pizza from any of the Caseys' stores in the mid-west, this is a dead ringer for that folks! And when I stopped there (again) on my latest roadtrip, it was a neck and neck race for a fresh baked blueberry muffin and the pep pizza slices!

The staff was super friendly and I wish I was better remembering names but the young lady making the baked goods and pizzas is simple awesome! And fun to chat with if the opportunity presents itself. The gentleman at the cash register very helpful and I'm sure me buying three of the brownies that are HUGE and taste OMGosh great meant he knew I was a sometimes regular!

People may think prices in a town like are expensive but I don't see it that way. What part of SoCal makes you think of a dollar menu?! LOL

Do yourself a treat and stop by. They have clean facilities, a wide arrange of drinks and like I said, the food served out of their deli is delish!!! And besides, it's a great little pit stop before to refresh, stretch and be prepared for the 8 lanes of traffic going in the same direction later on! :)”
