“This place is so fun! If you want to get away from the college bars and just have a lowkey evening, this is the place to be. They have beer, hard cider, and other non-alcoholic drinks, so if you want a fancy cocktail I would maybe think twice. But the interior is very cozy and filled with really cool decor. The person at the counter was very nice and welcoming. I just said hi, was asked to show my ID because this is a bar and I'm 25 (normal) , and I tried my FIRST glass of honey wine! So good. Highly recommend :)”

“This is my favorite smoke shop in the area. I’ve been going here for about two years now, ever since I moved to the bay. They have everything you could need from bongs to down stems, to top notch grinders, cigarettes, rolling trays, and even drinks and snacks! I don’t go to any other smoke shops because they always have what I need! I absolutely adore the family who runs this shop, and the customer service is always top notch. “probably one of the best / most well known smoke shops in all of Vallejo. they will take care of all your tobacco, vape and glass needs. decently priced glass. but get to the bigger rigs/top shelf glass and be prepared to drop a good amount of money.. but that's everywhere around the bay these days tbh.the only other smoke shop that I could argue is as well known or as popular as U-Know, is only a block down the street.. and it's called We-Know...don't know which one came before and which after.. but very original guys Lol.(I heard that they are owned by members of the same family that had some type of beef or somethin)”

“Really good papers haven't received any stale papers. Go to shop if I ever need a vape, papers, bong, pipe, baggies, and whatever other smoke essentials. They have Yocan batteries amazing batteries long lasting if you smoke carts. Really good customer service. Cheapest vape they got is 10 and still a solid vape.”

They are conversational without being pushy. Therey are 100% there to help you.The prices have always been reasonable. Not the cheapest in the bay but absolutely the best selection in berkeley. Furthermore i have NEVER walked out of Whelans feeling cheated or like i payed too much.Lastly, as we all know...it's not always a pleasant experience going into a glass shop in berkeley when you're a person of color. Often times, employees will follow you around and hover over you making their suspicion or outright disrespect clear. Not so at Whelans. Nobody is treated differently because of the color of their skin. I know because they were perfectly respectful and kind to my husband.At least stop by, i guarantee they will have something for you.”
