I watched the teller today completely disrespect a woman with an appointment to get her passport. She told her she had to speak English to get the passport. This is not true. She said she had to get someone else there within 10 minutes who could interpret for her. She told her this in English. The woman did not understand. I intervened, got an interpreter on the phone, but the teller insisted it had to be someone who had known this woman for 2 years.
Look, these are tough times. This woman needed documention to ensure the safety of her family. She was treated with such disrespect that I will never come here again. There was a workaround available, and the teller chose racism instead.

I had an amazing experience at the post office thanks to Erica.
She was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful truly going above and beyond.
I’ve never received such excellent service before. Erica made everything easy and pleasant, and her positive attitude really stood out.
She’s a true example of outstanding customer service.
Thank you, Erica!
God bless you!

quiet location but helpful staff got my package ready quickly! passports do require appointments and I did not see a self serve kiosk, which I usually love to use for mailing packages using the flat rate boxes.

Discrimination!
I just completed a transaction at this Pear Street Post Office. I was at the window trying to calculate how much money I would need for 3 money orders. The clerk got tired of waiting for me and asked me to move to the next window because he had other customers to wait on. I may have been at his window for maybe 5 minutes when he asked me to move. If was white he would not have asked that of me e would have help me complete my transaction. It took the female clerk all of 2 minutes to assist me. Discrimination in the USPS in the 21 century unforgivable. Thanks to the female clerk who understand customer service. If I was white this treatment would have never happened.
Shame on you!

Very bad experience, I made an appointment for a passport, I arrived fifteen minutes early and they make you wait for more than an hour just to serve you. I don't understand why making an appointment, they don't respect the time.

My experience was a pleasant one. Customer service rep was knowledgeable and polite. The lines can be long. I'd recommend calling or going online to make an appointment if you want to get in and out fast.

Joanna (says she’s the supervisor) discriminates towards people of color. I’ve been coming to this location for 10 years and every time she’s on site, she shown no professionalism or customer service. Most ppl here are friendly for the most part. But today was my last time I’ll be coming here. I was trying to complete my 3 month old passport application and online says “walk in hours 2-5 pm”. In my head that means you can walk in from 2-5 pm, right? She sees that I’m in line looking over the paperwork and shouts/yells saying we’re not accepting any more applications today in front of the whole line and blatantly. I mentioned that your site says walk in hours are 2-5. She said we’re not taking anymore and dismisses me. She never suggested come back next Tuesday or I’ll make you an appointment! This is her attitude towards customers everyday. How is she the supervisor ? Having my husband get off of work early and a fussy 3 month old - she was not sympathetic! Most ppl leave thier jobs- but you can tell she hates it. She needs to be held accountable and given more diversity and customer service training !

The girl with the braids is extremely rude. Yelled at me to go to another post office because I tried opening the door at 8:30am. I told her I could hear her and she yelled "it was meant to be heard". I've never experienced someone so rude and nasty at this post office. Please find people that are customer service friendly and that appreciate having a paying job. This lady was on her personal phone at the front continuing with her attitude and the women that was helping seemed quite uncomfortable as if this happens all the time. I tried asking for her name and she refused.
