As a first time lehenga shopper, they were very helpful and patient - not to mention they turned around some small alterations within 30 mins of purchasing (I got lucky that their seamstress was in on a day she wasn’t supposed to be, but regardless the customer service is unmatched!). Definitely check them out if you need to do some last minute shopping.”

“My husband told me about ism but I would always stay in the car instead of going in. I figured...since he never came out with anything, they must be too expensive...boy was I wrong. He finally convinced me to go in "to just look". I came out with a shirt, hoodie and a skull cap. They run a little small but they are very high quality clothing, the sweats are very thick and soft. The prices are much less than I expected. I actually need to go back because lately I've been wearing my hoodie 2 times a week...I absolutely love it. So warm you can go without a coat. The no pressure customer service was great. I'm only giving 4 stars because my husband would always go in but come out with nothing. They don't carry his size. He's normally a 2x because he's so tall but 3x would fit better when it comes to ism clothing. I would love to surprise him with something from ism...since he turned me on to them...sooo please consider larger sizes. See you soon...”
“I love this shop. It's so unique and well laid out - with amazing, high quality, special/beautiful items, such as clothing - all displayed beautifully, and appealingly. I've bought indigo jeans there, T-shirts with cool designs, as well as fragrances. These purchases will last.I have always gotten so much thoughtful, positive guidance from staffperson Frances. She knows the products, and has helped me each time to find the right thing for me. “Treasures of Tibet Store is the best place to shop in Berkeley for clothing, blankets, jewelry and gifts. It is owned by a fabulous family and Peki and Thubtan are such friendly and generous owners. They run the business with integrity and kindness as well as being so helpful and friendly. Their store items are of stupendous and excellent quality: beautiful and soft materials in their blankets and ponchos. They have a wide variety of clothing, from excellent , colorfully designed cotton pants to a diverse range of Tibetan blouses and coats. The earrings are truly beautiful and of many lovely gemstones. There are many rings to choose from. It is a truly well run store with so much to choose from, even big and beautiful abalone shells! This store deserves 6 plus rating. It is a well organized and beautiful store with such friendly owners who will go out of their way to give you the very best service.”
“A lovely and well curated little shop in Albany. Just steps from Solano Ave but easy to miss on a side street, this place is a delight. They have ceramics, incense, jewelry, perfumes, body wash, cards, small gifts. I think I saw granola, olive oil and a few cookbooks. They also have a good selection of gently used clothes, shoes, and bags. Kind people behind the counter. Just a wonderful place all round. I hope this store stays for a long time to come!”

“As I company, I'm a big fan of T9. Love their brand, their products, their real-women athlete models. I had my first in-store experience in years when I came in to return something that I ordered online which didn't fit. The store did not disappoint. The associate who helped me was assisting others when I walked in, so I looked around for my replacement jumper. They didn't have it, but it was no problem. Within a few minutes, the T9 associate had processed my return, ordered another in the right size, and helped me order a pair of shorts I'd been eying in the catalogue (after trying on the size and deciding on a slightly different length and color). Both would get delivered to me at home for no delivery fee. I'm not sure how much the return and second delivery charges would have been, but I was happy to not find out. Now I'm so excited about my new summer jumper and shorts that will be coming soon!”
