“I was in today 6/5 for some packages that didn’t get delivered to my address. We moved here and it was a bit of an adjustment having to go grab them from the post office. But we live just up the way so it really wasn’t much of a bother. Unfortunately this mama forgot her diaper bag at home and I didn’t want to subject my baby to a car ride back and forth so we went inside without a carrier hoping my packages weren’t large. They were. A kind soul by the name of Scott happily carried out my packages for me seeing what distress I was in. I appreciated the kindness and I hope that he continues to work at this location. We need more kind souls like him.”

“Everytime we go in we recieve amazing service. Depending on the time you go, you might be able to walk right in or you may have to wait in line. No matter the situation Gina always welcomes everyone with a sincere smile and greeting. I've seen people be unhappy and be rude to her because of mailing issues and she still keeps her calm and continues to be courteous. She is a phenomenal employee. People should understand that the workers are just doing there job. They shouldn't be yelled at because of the fee to ship or a lost package. It's not the front ends fault.”

“I lived in Volcano for 20 years. During that time we had several postmasters and they were all friendly and conscientious. We moved to Portland 18 months ago. Two days ago a package was sent in error to our old address. In less than five minutes I'd found the telephone number to the Volcano post office, called and talked to the new Postmaster who immediately knew my name and old P.O. box, and he assured me he'd take care of the problem today. One of the top three things I miss about Amador County, and Volcano in particular, is the post office and its friendly and helpful postal workers.”
