Shell Beach Surf Shop is a creative outlet cultivated from a love of surfing, traveling, and a life by the sea. It is a great little surf shop with great vibes and a great atmosphere, described as awesome, super cool, and comfy. The shop supports the local salty sea folk and celebrates living beachside in central California. It offers quality products, including cool apparel, surfing accessories, and outdoor accessories, along with wet suits and surf boards. The shop provides dynamic surf camps and personalized lessons. These are highly recommended, especially to first-time families. Instructors are noted as great teachers who are very kind, patient, friendly, and engaged, providing great feedback. They clearly love what they do and put a lot of effort into making the experience a good one. Participants in the kids' surf camp and surf lessons have a wonderful time, a great experience, and a blast, often begging to continue. The professionalism, care, and communication are considered top notch. The lessons provide confidence and are a great experience for conquering fears. The shop also offers rejuvenating retreats and hosts events and summer movie venues.

They are very friendly and did a great job with their kids' surf camp. My son enjoyed it a lot and liked the instructors. They really put a lot of effort into making the experience a good one! After the lessons, we purchased wet suits and surf board from their shop. I highly recommend their surf shop and lessons.

Such a great little surf shop, great vibes and my 3 kids had a blast during their surf lesson... we drove down to Oceano, parked on the beach and watched...so much fun, great surf and good people!
