I didn’t read the reviews before going to this awful place so I experience extreme behavior towards me. I got a bottle of water. He said very sarcastically is that all He charged me$3.75, It was within walking distance of where I’m staying so I went there again. Will I forget to view reviews?

i just stopped in for seltzer or diet coke or lactose free milk.
there was only diet coke and the man said 10.99, then gave me $7 change. i said this is the wrong change.
then he yelled CALIFORNIA CAV or whatever--like you don't pay taxes everywhere--and my response was, just tell me it's $12.50 and he started yelling at me calling me (insert mysigybistic hateful words for being a woman). kept yelling.
i'm sure he hates his life but hate speach instead of just telling people the correct price like you're supposed to do the math for tax us bananas.
don't go there. hateful man.
also, only has cheap alcohol at high prices.

Extremely rude service; tried to overcharge. Will never shop there again. Did I mention EXTREMELY RUDE? Go the extra mile to Pismo if you need anything at all. Would leave a 0 star review if I could.

I agree with everyone on the rudeness of the owner. He has a look of hatred the minute you walk through the door. Charges 0.69 to use your card. The merchandise looks like it's never checked for freshness. I would rather walk a mile to De Palo's, be treated with respect and friendliness even if I have to pay more there. There is another market several blocks down close to Dinosaur Park. It has a little Mediterranean Food counter. The staff there is so much more friendly!!! And this guy clearly has NO RESPECT for women!! I deserves NO STARS!!!

I have shopped at this little market several times. It's has a bit of everything and is convenient. The problem is the owner/worker is usually unpleasant to deal with. At first I thought it was a cultural thing but he is the same way with the male shoppers, so he is just a j****

This place is awesome if you are looking for overpriced everything and an attitude of "I'm doing you a favor and selling this to you!" Also, bring a mask to combat the mold exposure you will be privileged to experience and take home with you. If you are cracked out and looking for a lighter, this is your place!

The clerk was very unpleasant fromThe beginning. I purchased 10 quick picks and quickly put the ticket in my purse. I was charged $20 and when i got home I took my ticket out and saw I was only given a $10 ticket with 5 quick picks. He ripped me off and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Be sure if you go there to check everything and how much you are charged!!
