Went to the pharmacy today for help transferring a much needed prescription from home pharmacy and they were so condescending and all 4 workers pretty much showed us they couldn't be bothered as too time consuming for them to call our doctor. We went to CVS and they immediately helped! So much for shopping at Rite Aid!

When we saw this was a Rite Aid Thrifty I got excited! As a child I knew of the infamous square, cheap but tasty ice cream but sadly did not get to ever enjoy it ever! So I had to take my kids here to check it out! I think my hubs said ice cream cones used to be 10 cents back in the day. I know its not 10 cents anymore but it will still be cheaper than normal and I was right! $2.49 for a single scoop. Not bad, considering we had ice cream last night for $5! The sweet elderly lady working was a gem. Loved her. You can pick up the iconic scoop here too for $29.99. My daughter got a strawberry cone, my son got a mint chocolate chip, and I got a malted chocolate crunch. Omg it was crazy delicious! I've never had anything like it I want more!!! Do try it if you get an opportunity! So nostalgic! Wish there were more around!

Best thing I ever did was to transfer all of my prescriptions from CVS to Rite Aid. The process was painless and immediate. So happy I did. Already Rite Aid customer service has really outshown CVS.

Worst pharmacy experience ever! My doctor wanted to phone in a prescription, and since he wanted me to start using it today, I figured I would have him send it to here, since I can walk there and because I was considering moving all my prescriptions there. Two hours after my doctor faxed (he is old-school) it in, I called to see if they it ready. They had no record of it. I left a message with my doctor, and the receptionist called an hour later. She said they always do this, but agreed to re-fax it. I called Rite Aid right away to tell them to expect it, and apparently it was ready. So, I pointed out that they did get the first one, so why was I told it was not there. He said they are not used to getting Fax, and the doctor should electronically file it. He told me to call my doctor. I told him that perhaps it makes more sense for him to call the doctor. To which he replied "Maybe I should just stop accepted prescriptions from him." I went up to pick it up. The woman who told me they did not have it apologized to me. I said "that is ok, but perhaps next time check the Fax machine, but who I am really angry at is the guy who I spoke to last, he should never have said that about not accepting prescriptions from my doctor" He immediately denied every having said that, and told me he had witnesses he did not say that. Well, that is really weird - if he did not say it, then why was he ready with the denial and 'proof' the minute my accusation was out of my mouth. My doctors office called while I was buying. I told her I had it, but I would need another prescription because I was not renewing here. I am done with that pharmacy. She said I was not the only patient who felt that way.On a side note? That obnoxious pharmacist? he gave me my covid and flu shot a few months ago. Most painful shots ever. I got a bruise from the flu shot.

Im in the health care field and have a busy schedule, not only are the pharmacist and staff knowledgeable but they go out of their way to help you which is really appreciated during these isolated days with covid 19 for those of us that are exposed every day.Over the years (since 2015 I have witnessed professionalism and friendliness with other customers while standing in line at both the pharmacy waiting line and the checkout for other items.I look forward to going their: friendly staff in all departments, access to the bathroom easily which is important to me do to the nature of my work. I have heard compliments from my patients locally in the area also but most of them do not uses a computer so writing a review would be difficult.I have had vaccines also at this pharmacy and I trust each and everyone of them.I will give a referral to this pharmacy for those that I meet that have moved here and need a friendly pharmacy to visit in the 5 cities area.

I came in at 9:00 am and no one was there yet. The pharmacy personal came a few minutes late which would have been fine but no one even acknowledged my presence. Someone should have at least acknowledged me by saying they will be right with me. My prescriptions were filled the day before so I just wanted to pay for them. At 9:07 someone said they could help me. I gave him my new insurance card and they said it would take 15 minutes for them to do what ever they needed to do. No explanation...they just said it's because they just opened. When I worked we always had to be there early and ready to help customers when the doors opened. At 9:35 I asked how much longer it would take. The prescriptions were filled already, they had them in their hands and they just needed to enter in my new insurance info. They said again that they were behind because they just opened! This is horrible service! When I complained they said they had computer issues and they had to restart the computer. Worse service ever!

Just came here to pick up prescriptions and had a very negative encounter with the pharmacy staff. I called earlier bur was still asked to wait for an extended period of time, which I understand since it was the pharmacists lunch time. However, when I questioned why they couldn't have helped me when I had called earlier do anything over the phone, the pharmacy techs responded with very bad attitude. The patients come here for medical treatment, and all I would expect is that they respond with care. The pharmacist only heard the story from the pharmacy tech and did not even bother to listen to what I have to say. Perhaps I was treated this way due to my racial background, but I don't want to assume. I would not recommend this place.

I had initially changed my Pharmacy from CVS Marsh in San Luis Obispo , to this pharmacy in 5 cities. I was looking forward to (hopefully) a better new relationship. What I experienced was the same old rudeness that I had experienced from CVS.. I had called 5 cities pharmacy Rite Aid to find out why my Prescription had jumped from $12 to $80. The pharmacist that I talked to could barely speak English, Nor could I understand his replies to my questions. And I believe sincerely that he could barely understand me, as he began to tell me the difference between one medicare Letter and another. part A, B or part C or part D. I did decided to go to the Drugstore and find out what happened in person.. I was beginning to ask the lady at the window about my problem when a very tall pharmacist pushed her out of the way and told her "I've got this ..." He proceeded to tell me that he knew all about me and that I had been very rude to one of his... junior pharmacist? Then he pointed out that my prescription instead of being 10/325 had been written by the physician as 10/320. And apparently the 320 was going to be $80 instead of 12.. I said I did not get that information from his junior pharmacist(?)He said that was too bad but I was being rude to that person and he knew all about it . I pleaded that I am usually quite patient with others when I'm not being understood or they are not being understood. I have decided to go mail order with all of my prescriptions at this point.. I later thought, since I had had this filled before, the pharmacist or his junior pharmacist could have simply called the physician and asked her why there was a difference between the 1st order which was 325 and the 2nd erroneous order which was 320...You know being concerned with the cost Increase to the customer? But of course this did not happen even though apparently the senior pharmacist ... ( Large and in charge ) had been monitoring the phone call with me And chose to spend his time lecturing me about being rude, rather than Being concerned about Inaccuracy made by the physician. This seems to be more and more typical these days without attitudes of pharmacists and these large corporate drugstore chains.. As I said, I will be using mail order from now on.. It's a shame because I like to support local businesses. But I believe Rite Aid which used to be called Thrifties... is headquartered somewhere in New York. So what's the big deal about loyalty? It has to be mutual. Courtesy and clarity also have to be mutual.

I was greeted as soon as I walked into the store. Since I wasn't on a time constraint, I decided to look for a particular item instead of asking staff. Less than a minute of being in the store, an employee asked if I needed help. I asked her where a particular item was and was directed to the right area. When I was ready to leave, the cashier was helpful and pleasant.

On a recent visit to this Rite Aid Pharmacy, the pharmacist gave us special attention to help us with the needs of our special needs son. We so appreciate the respect and care for our son.
