Roach infested, poor AC that consistently breaks for days at a time in the summer and they say legally you're not entitled to AC according to tenant laws and my APT is 97 degrees internal temp!!!!!!! The lady cooking downstairs cooking with her window open 24/7 constantly and overflowing trash bin next to us I'm sure is the reason why this building has a bad attraction when it comes to the roaches coming from outside! The units are outdated, it's not worth the price especially given the location and the fact it's constantly loud and the police are constantly being called! Power in the building has went out multiple times save your money and go somewhere else!

I am giving three stars because it's a pretty mixed bag.Pros: Maintenance repairs are done in a timely manner and preventive maintenance and groundskeeping is done. The apartments are also spacious and well-maintained. The leasing office is responsive to concerns and the fitness center has pretty good hours. The community is gated which is a good thing in the area its at.Cons: The neighborhood itself leaves something to be desired. It is a loud area, Atlantic Ave is quite busy and people like to speed down the street revving their engines. There are a lot of individuals at the complex with loud vehicles. I will also say, DO NOT live on the first floor. Just don't. The noise is AWFUL from upstairs. I quite frequently hear my upstairs neighbors TV when I am in my own living room, hear stomping all the time, and have overhead loud domestic disputes from other buildings. The walls are paper thin. People don't like to pick up after their pets, which is pretty gross. Lastly, some people go through the complex pretty quickly in vehicles which presents a safety hazard. Speed bumps throughout the parking lot do help though. Sometimes the entrance gate up front will stick, but it is usually operational. None of the cons are reflective of the management team at Cornerstone, but nonetheless are important factors when considering where to live.

Nice place , however there is no parking for residents all the open unmarked spots are taken by non residents who don’t move they cars for weeks on out and they don’t have visible parking passes in the windows as stated in the lease. They also stated that they have on-site security who is supposed to ticket cars but I’ve seen nothing I’ve reached out to corporate and the leasing office no one seems to care about the issue but states that your car can be towed if it’s not in a open unmarked stall which is unacceptable should no resident have a hard time finding parking when they get off work. I will be reaching out to an attorney regarding this unresolved parking issue here oh did i mention rent is 2100 with no resident Parking in a gated complex.

This complex is supposed to be non smoking, and ive been smelling cigarette smoke, every day since I’ve been here, and I’ve only been here for a week going into my second week, management claims they did a walk-through to make sure everything was working just fine, within the first weekend of me being here, I discovered numerous things that should’ve been taken care of before we moved in.. overall I like the area the layout is nice.. The two bed two bath we are in it is not the biggest, but it is a good size for two people.. major upgrade for my small one bedroom we were in previously at another complex.. The location is great with a lot of things within walking distance.. DO NOT MOVE HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT.. MANAGEMENT DOES NOT ENFORCE THE NON SMOKING RULE.. but yet they enforce the noise rule, residents to do not come to you, instead they complain. The swimming pool is very salty and has gotten more and more dirty since it has re opened, management claims that is it cleaned every morning, how ever it’s obvious that is hasn’t been cleaned. I have posted a few pictures of all the dirt in the pool, that is apparently cleaned every morning, when the sun hits just right the water looks a little green., non smoking and I find cigarettes.

If I could give negative stars I would. I have been in this apartment for 3 days and they leased me a cockroach infested apartment. Very unprofessional. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. Told them about it day one. And there reply was I'm sorry will send someone out next week. What the f*** kind of reply is that. Would the property manager sleep in a cockroach infested unit? I have found over 30 cockroaches in 3 days.

Let me tell you about these apartments. First of all... They not all that! They are really small as far as the 1 bedrooms. When you call, they tell you that the one bedrooms are 800 SF and I'm like oh he'll yeah, that's huge for a 1bd right & she said they have fire places... Well when we went to look at the unit... It wasn't lime I thought or what she said! It was far from 800sf for one, look every bit of 5something, no fire place, she told me that the one with the fireplace was rented yesterday.. She lying! It was a lot of dirt as you walked up the stairs that seem like they bout to break any minute now! The patio was wood and it to look like it wasn't safe to step out on it.. I was cool! They say a lot of good on that phone but once you get there... They not talking the same talk! Don't waste your time checking them dusty places iut, it's a waste of time!

I have lived here for 2 years. Very noisy place rent increases 100.00 each year, roaches, mice run across the balcony. Our car windshield was stomped in by someone but the cameras did not work. We were informed by the the manager that the camera does not capture or pick up well because the area it's pointing in is very dark. That's an unacceptable answer. The only good thing is that they will respond to your inquires ASAP but never fix the problems. We rented a garage from them which started at 100.00 per month. well 3 months after we rented that garage, the rent of the garage increased to 140.00. That's totally unacceptable as well. We kept our place very nice and clean but when it was time to move out, we were charged to re-paint the place. We left no holes in the walls or doors. The carpet still looked new everything was clean and working as it was when we moved in. We have no little children just myself and my husband. Please note that when you move in they will not charge you water of garbage for the first two months. They will charge it at the end so that will suck up about 240 of your deposit. Don't do it , Don't do it.... I do not recommend this place it "SUCKS"

The apartments are nice inside, it is a loud area. The price starts out reasonable, but be aware once your lease goes up, so will your price. Ours started around 1500 for a two by two, once our lease ended it jumped up past 1700 for the same apartment.
