Donations: I dropped off some items for donation. One thing was a three piece collectible soup serving set. It was packed carefully in an open top box. The attendant dumped it into the bin and I watched it fall. He proceeded to smash it in. That was an item I had a hard time parting with because I did really like it but need to clear out my kitchen. It's very disappointing.

Sadly this Goodwill is overpriced and I don't plan to frequent this location anymore. Not only are the clothes overpriced compared to other Goodwills I've shopped at, but I am never able to find any color tag item that is marked 50% off. I've gone several times in the last few months to check, and I've always ended up with nothing.

I’m assuming the prices are super high because of the area, also assuming that these high prices have something to do with most of these clothes being of insanely awesome value and quality. SO MANY PLEASER and DEMONIA shoes / platforms in perfect condition for between $14 - $25, any of my other gogo dancers out there will know these shoes are usually at least $100-$150, good resell opportunity there. ( I noticed the pleasers are either really small or really big , saw mostly sizes5-7 or sizes 10-12)TONS of high quality (but also higher priced than any other goodwill I’ve been to.) last minute Halloween costumes (but also noticed any normal dress or item that happened to be a Halloween color like orange green purple but was a normal like shirt etc got marked up by 50% and a Halloween sticker on the tag..lame)THANK GOD Most of what I purchased was on a 50% off sale, most of the clothing seemed to be like this but not sure for how long.

This is one of the best locations in OC! A hidden gem. It may be a small store but it's packed with great stuff (both housewares and clothing). I do wish they would stop this new trend of organizing by size. Half the time, stuff is mixed in anyway so I have to go through it all. It was much easier to do this by color! Also, the new sections don't seem to make much sense. There will be some dresses in one section going from XS-XL, then the XS starts all over again with more dresses. I understand they're trying to organize them by casual/fancy/long sleeve, etc, but it doesn't work when people don't file them correctly. I'm also BEGGING them to stop using those black box "air freshener" perfume machines on the walls. Some of your customers are allergic to scents (me) and it's not fun to get an instant headache and runny nose inside the store. Unfortunately the clothes reek of it even after washing them several times. Please just clean the store instead of covering up smells with more smells. On the plus side, the employees here rock! They're nice in a chill way that doesn't feel fake or customer servicey. They're always busy stocking, and they don't stand around talking (this is a major issue at the Brea store). Dressing rooms are always clean but they're super stringent about the clothing limit of 5 at this store. It can get a little annoying to keep switching stuff out. 8 items would be more reasonable? I do wish they were a little more strict about the 15 min time limit because families of 5 will go in and take 45 min. There's only 2 dressing rooms so sometimes I just try stuff on over my clothes. Overall, this location would be perfect with a couple small changes! Side note, I love the parking lot here, which is huge and always has spaces.

I have shopped at different Goodwill locations and have been able to return clothing items without any problems (with tags and receipt of course). However, I was told at this location (Yorba Linda) I am not able to exchange my clothing items. Is there a reason why this Goodwill has a different return policy than other locations?

I’ve been here twice and both times I walked out with more high quality clothing than I have at every other goodwill i’ve been to combined!

This is a great Goodwill and with lots of things to choose from. They have clothes, books, and housewares unlike several other locations which mainly have clothing.

I came to donate things at the donation center. The hours state that the donation center is open 9 am - 7 pm. We get there and a man rudely tells us that it closed at 6pm. We tried being nice but it then procedes to tell us that this change has been in place for LONG LONG time. Well, in that case, why is online website not changed for this location? We go inside because i am looking for baby clothes. The kid section (along with entire store) is a complete mess and incomplete. The infant baby stuff is mixed in with the 6year old items and so forth. Disorganized, unhelpful staff and overall grimy. Ive been to many goodwills but not like this. This was like a reject goodwill. It also had a very pungent odor that i cant really describe.

Conflicting information on acceptable donations. Drove there with items only to be told once there, not accepted. Was advised prior that itbwould be accepted.
