“I've used Hangtown Cyclery several times and always had excellent service. A couple of times Kevin has fixed something for free that I thought would be a major expense. For example, my bicycle seat post is spring-loaded and has a lever to release the tension so I can adjust the height while I'm riding. It got to where it wouldn't hold my weight, kept getting lower during the ride, and I thought it would require a spring replacement. Kevin fixed it by adjusting the nut on the end of the cable, no charge.
Recently I needed to replace the original tires and Kevin walked me through selecting the right tires based on my riding preferences (onroad/offroad percentages, etc); the new tires are much better for my type of riding.
Several other instances, but in general, the work has always been done on or before when he said it would be, always a fair price, and always a good job.”
