I wasn't there 20 minutes before I was accosted by one of the local home owners. One of the properties that touches the parks boundary believes he owns the pond. It was pretty lame. Also there is always some kind of litter or crazy person flipping out on visitors.

One of the best playgrounds near downtown placerville, there is some decent equipment and a very nice shaded grass area. Doesn't usually have a lot of kids, but we've run into a some a few times. It's shared in the morning and late afternoon. Hope to see you there.

Sleepy park and lake is a bit dirty. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city. You can fish here too, it's stocked once a year for a kids tournament.

Lumsden Park is a small playground located in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by trees and fresh air. There’s no restroom, but there are a couple of picnic tables (without grills). One unique feature of this park is the nearby lake — we saw kids coming specifically to fish there, which seems like a fun and engaging activity for them.

Went here to just think for a bit. It was quiet and had shade unfortunately the ducks don't have much water right now, but they still looked happy enough in their puddles of water.

Went today for the first time. It has the potential to be a nice park. However there are no bathrooms, there is really no place to let my dog off leash without fear she might fall off an embankment or into a hole. There were no ducks and the water was pretty gross. When we first got there they were some homeless people peeing in the bushes. Was warned there were needles in the playground area. It just felt dirty and unsafe. We didn't stay long and sadly will probably not go back. It's so close to our house it would been convenient.
Playground: It was ok but heard it had needles in it.
Toilets: No bathrooms but I doubt I would have used them anyway. I am a city girl and to outdoorsy to use
Dog-friendliness: No where to let my dog off leash to run. I was afraid if so she would fall off an embankment. I have a disability and wasn't able to walk her anywhere. Not the parks fault it's nature

Seems like this is a great place people meet up for hookers and drug deals I wouldn't recommend bringing kids there to play though not really kid friendly from what I see

Been coming here since I was very little. I'm now almost 30 and it's still almost the same scene in my memory from my childhood.
