Raley's is a long-standing Placerville icon, proud to serve since 1935. It is a nice, large, and well-stocked store with a great variety of everything from soup to nuts. The store is known for its great pre-made food, including a top-notch Chinese food bar, fresh sushi display, an old-school salad bar, deli sandwiches, and a bakery. The vegetables, beef, and other meats are good. The staff is great, with fantastic customer service, and there are plenty of self-checkout and staffed lines for a quick visit. Their e-cart service is also a noted life-saver. It is consistently a good experience with new things always happening.
You can get great organic produce. Has lactose free options in dairy, but not much in raw dairy options. Some of the breads and other food that brands that we used to buy there have gone away.
