If something happens to your vehicle, you can rely on this dealership to help. I had the very best experience when my Dodge Journey's transmission blew and I had my car towed to Thompsons. They were able to do everything they could to get me back on the road and I will forever be grateful!! I believe I owe it to Donna. She was AMAZING!!

Had a great shopping experience. Joel worked with me to find my new truck, it was a process. He was patient and never pushy, and it was more a feeling of him just trying to help me find what i wanted rather than just trying to make a sale. The entire experience was pleasant and professional.

We needed to sell our 2011 Toyota Tundra and to our surprise, it was super quick and easy! We worked with Meghan who walked us through the process with no pressure whatsoever. She was able to get us a great (highest) offer, was very friendly and helpful, and was available through text or call for any questions. They also have refreshments (which was a huge hit with my teenage son), and they offer a free shuttle so there’s no hassle in setting up a ride home. Very little paperwork involved and such a hassle free process!

I came in to Thompsons recently with a few cars in mind to purchase but was still unsure which one would be the best fit. Matt is one of the best salesman’s I have ever worked with! He is really nice, patient, knowledgeable and showed me the cars I was looking at and answered all my questions! I ended up purchasing a 2020 Honda accord! Overall it was an amazing experience and would recommend my friends and family to go there to get their next car!

We recently had another experience purchasing a new vehicle from Thomsons. I cannot recommend them enough and would never subject myself or a friend to another dealership. They are far away and above any other experience we have ever had. After having personal help, attention and provided many options for months, we narrowed it down to the absolute perfect vehicle for my family. The stressful part was easy and made pleasant by all staff. From the top all the way down across the board. Matt Amaral made the final sales experience a pleasure. Meghan the Kelley Blue Book buyer is amazingly efficient. She made the sale of my Mazda so smooth it was almost effortless. thompsons is a great place to buy and have your vehicle taken care of. we bought our jeep rubicon and ram big horn there. nicole armstrong was our salesperson. she is amazing. no pressure to buy and lots of time to think and make good choices. she worked hard to get us a fair price. i highly recommend you ask for nicole or set up an online meeting with her for your next vehicle. all of the other staff have been a joy to deal with too.

I had my jeep towed into Thompson’s first thing last Friday morning. Troy, the service, writer, and Ryan the mechanic. did an awesome job of taking care of me in a timely manner. I was able to continue my trip on the Rubicon Trail. We had a fantastic experience.

Ended up ordering custom 2023 RAM 1500 quad cab, 4x4 from Barry Evert from Thompsons Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, there was only going to be a $500 mark up over MSRP, which was excellent since many of my local dealers were marking up rigs on their lots thousands over MSRP! Thompsons was well worth the 200 mile drive down to them. Ended up getting a new 2024 since there was a problem with the factory deadline (Get your orders in early! Do not wait until close to the deadline!), When I went to pick up the truck and do the final paperwork, Barry at Thompsons surprised me by still honoring most of the rebates that were on the 2023 for the new 2024! Ended up rolling out of there with thousands of dollars of unexpected savings in my pocket! Plus they were very helpful with everything, even when my old truck died before I could bring it to them for the trade in. I was scrambling for a friend to take me the 3 hours trip down, but Barry at Thompsons said not to worry. If I could not find someone to take me down to them, that they can do everything virtually and ship the truck to me for an extra $350. That was a great backup option, if I needed it, but I did find someone. It was good to meet Barry Evert in person. He spent over an hour helping me set up my phone to interface with the truck and going over everything in the truck, which was great since I am not great with tech stuff, and the informational screen on my 2024 truck is larger than my laptop! I would definitely buy a new truck from them, in the next 10-15 years, when I need a new one!

Late post, but a big shout out to Matt my car salesman!!! I was in a tuff spot when I walked in and he went above and beyond to help me get my Jeep traded in for something better with gas mileage. I had no money down and was very worried. With in two days he worked it out to have my Jeep paid off in full, money in my pocket and no down payment!! I couldn't have asked for a better salesman. My Chrysler 300 sport came in to the dealership at the same time I was trying to trade in my jeep. It never even made on the lot because Matt knew it was fit for me. I have been purchasing cars and SUV's for over 50 years and have never experienced such disrespect or lack of follow through as I have at thompson Chrysler/Dodge. It all started when I purchased my Ram truck. The paperwork for the actual purchase was missing from the packet they gave me to take home. I called immediately to report that I didn't have the sales contract. They said they would send it right away. I waited two weeks and it still hadn't arrived, so I called back and talked with the General Mgr Steve Garrity. He was very sorry for the delay to getting my contract and assured me he would make sure I got it. I live over an hour from the dealership so it wasn't like I could just drive down there. It still didn't arrive another 7-10 days so I called back and this time I was quite upset. When I talked to Steve he said what can we do to make you happy. I said offer to give me two free oil changes. He agreed and the issue was resolved. I don't drive my Ram much and it now has 5k miles on it so I called to use one of the oil changes and low and behold the written note from Steve Garrity has disappeared. The lady service dept. attendant confirmed to me a year ago that it was on my file that I had two free oil changes coming to me but now the new service attendant Chris can't find them??? He said he was going to have the service Mgr. Pete Tate call me, five days later no call. So I reached out to my sales supervisor Matt Amaral last Friday to see if he could help but he has yet to call me back he is to busy as he said in a text. So I left a message on the new General Mgrs. phone Tim Stockwell and guess what he hasn't called back as of today two days later. Now I have reached out to the corporate office in Auburn Hills Mi and filled a formal complaint. They were going to reach out to Thompson Chrysler/Dodge and get to the bottom of the issue with disappearing notes on my Ram. It has been all day and still no call. Stay away from Thompson Chrysler/Dodge dealership. They are as nice as can be to sell you a vehicle but after that they turn a blind eye and don't care anymore about you or your vehicle. I have a safety recall item on the Ram that I have waited over a year to get fixed and they keep saying the part hasn't come in. Still waiting for it to be resolved...

I just completed a successful and entirely satisfying transaction with Megan at Thompson's Jeep in Placerville. We've purchased a number of vehicles at Thompson's over several years, and this was my second time selling one of our used vehicles to them. Megan helped me on both occasions, and was exemplary both times. From the beginning, she was very professional, polite and engaged in the transaction. She clearly and concisely explained the process, and provided relevant updates as needed. She was forthcoming and lacked any of the stereotypical traits that are often mentioned about car dealership personnel. In the end, I was presented with and accepted a very satisfactory offer to purchase the vehicle. Unsurprisingly, this offer reflected the fact that some repair and cosmetic work would need to be invested in the vehicle for resale. I am content with the amount paid, and quite impressed with Megan's professionalism and sincerity. She left the impression that she was genuinely concerned with me leaving with a positive customer experience and satisfied with the dealership in general. Highest recommendation.
