We were there for a funeral reception. It's a good size room with the bar off tho the side. It was comfortable but there was only one bar tender and a lot of us so it took long to get a drink. I don't know any thing about the cost to rent it.

I LOVE dancing at Rusty's Rhythm Club! There are dance lessons at the start of the night and live music later on. Dancers of all levels attend and it is one of the greatest delights to see long time dancers welcome first time dancers onto the floor & see their smiles. Rusty puts in effort to share tips on etiquette so that the environment is welcoming and safe for leads and followers alike.For me it's just been a joyful experience each time I go- the bands are always excellent and the community is fun. Give it a try!

INCREDIBLE DANCE COMMUNITY!!! I love, love, love Rusty's. I have been dancing here since 2017, have partaken in choreographed dances, met tons of fantastic people, and danced many nights away. Rusty, Ron, and Ted are fantastic dancers and teachers -- they are understanding, kind, and great at their craft. Don't miss out!

From advanced to newbie swing dancers, this is the real deal. Rusty and Ron make sure all feel welcome. As a beginner I wasn’t sure what to expect but after taking the free lesson offered before the band starts up I was on my way. Highly recommended!!

For newbies or the smoothest of the smooth, this is an amazing place to Lindy your Hop! The vibe is super friendly. The bands are HOT. The cocktails are stiff and well priced. And it doesn't matter what level dancer you are. (Tip: take the dance lesson before the band starts to get comfortable. And meet people!). Get your butt down there and learn just what the "Lindy Grin" is all about. :)

Rusty's Rhythm Club is the best place to swing dance in Los Angeles!!! Rusty always hires the most talented swing bands to play which helps her surpass all the other clubs that only use DJ's. The community of dancers here is composed of the most good-natured and considerate people. They span all dance levels and any advanced dancer is willing to dance with a beginner. That's how we all learn and grow. If you have never danced before or are just learning, Rusty has beginner dance classes at 7pm before the dance starts at 8pm. So come on in! We would love to dance with you! P.S. There's a bar for some liquid courage if you need it...wink wink!

Live band, great friendly vibe, can dress up or down and have a blast whether you're a newbie or a crazy flipping around Lindy Hopper (which I am not, fyi!). Def take advantage of the dance lesson before the band gets going, because it's a great way to make some nice connections with other people *and* build up your confidence. Plus -- I won't lie -- the bartender at the Elks Club makes stiff, well-priced cocktails! What's not to love...??!?!

Of all the places I’ve danced, Rusty’s is the most polite and friendliest. Nice place to dance and the attached bar is a real plus.
