This was my first yoga class post-injury and it was AMAZING. Took the Yin class & now I’m obsessed! The instructor was Laura & she was phenomenal. Loved her proper anatomical explanations through the class & her playlist was dope. The Yin class is perfect for beginners & a good deep stretch class. At the end of class they give you an ice cold lavender towel & it’s absolute heaven. I’ve been working with physical therapy & lifting heavy while coming back from an injury & didn’t realize this was exactly what I needed as part of my recovery process. The studio itself has a very modern look. I love that the yoga rooms don’t have mirrors. The locker areas are kept clean & organized. Their water refill station helps you stay hydrated after all that sweating. There’s street parking or a lot behind the studio (with their validation it’s like $3) they also have an outdoor patio area with wifi if you get there early or want to chill after class & get some work done. The customer service was above & beyond. The staff was so friendly & helpful you could tell they’re genuinely happy to be there. It looks like the studios are under new ownership about 6 months ago, so whatever they’re doing — they’re doing it right! They have locations in Santa Monica, West Hollywood, & Little Tokyo as well. Looking forward to taking more classes at Sweat Yoga!PSA: For new members they have 10 days for $30 promo.

This was my second time at Sweat Yoga, but my first time at this location. I’ve been to the Santa Monica location, but the customer service there was awful, and their classes were very crowded.I decided to try this location, and I’m glad I did!The customer service here was much better; the girl at the front desk was welcoming and ensured I had everything I needed. Also, the class was less crowded (Sunday at 8 a.m.).The instructor was great; the studio is clean, neat, spacious, and has clean showers and bathrooms. The only thing that I think they should change or improve is the attention to form and corrections. If you are already a pro and know how to move your body correctly, then it’s perfect for you, but if you are a beginner, you will find it hard to keep up and do the movements correctly.Overall, 9/10, and I’ll be back again!Class pass friendly!

Absolutely love this yoga studio! The teachers are top-notch. The classes are fun and I love the music! MY FAVORITE is ice-cold lavender towels they give out at the end. I'm am also a big fan of the moments when we get to flow on our own.

There is no place like Sweat Yoga. Heated, dark room. Amazing music & club vibes. Wonderful instructors. Intense workouts all while having the most fun. I am addicted to taking their classes now and I'm so much healthier and happier for it.

Sweat Yoga is the only yoga studio I have found that uses infrared saunas and incorporates rigorous yoga. Look up infrared saunas if you're not familiar, the theoretical health benefits are very enticing. I use the Playa del Rey location which is tucked in a quieter area of a residential area, so you don't have the stress of city parking ( you will need to either give yourself time to street park and walk or be prepared to use the validated parking which ends up costing you 3 dollars). Some classes are especially rigorous and challenging; you'll notice that those get packed fast and the crowd because of the nature of the intensity of adding sweat on to sweat ( exercise to a sauna) is pretty tough, meaning that you'll need to be present with yourself: do you need to take a break, have a drink, pause? Don't necessarily barrel through a class if it's your first, second or even third time.

The staff takes time to get to know you, so all you have to do is wave, and they mark you present. Also, the music they play in and around the studio is awesome. Teachers are top notch, with uawesome playlists. Parking is a breeze (although, they could bump up their validation time a bit). Yin yoga at least 4/5 times a week !!!

No phone number to contact and limited communication from email correspondence. Background: I purchased a trial period and could not book a class. Every time I tried to sign up for a class the system said I was already booked for the day which is not possible. I went ahead and just did a walk in since I live pretty close. Thank goodness the class wasn’t full. I mentioned this problem to the receptionist and she said “I’ve heard of other guests having this problem during their trial period the issue usually goes away when the trial is over so just keep walking in and hopefully we can get you in a class”. That’s pretty annoying but whatever it’s not a big deal. I was only able to attend 2 classes. The problem is I was charged for a missed class during this trial period because the system showed that I signed-up for a class although I was not able to book online.Again, sweat yoga has no phone number for any of their locations so I was only able to email them. After many unanswered emails, someone finally responded saying they will get back to me next week. That week never came.Pretty deceptive business practices.Note: the missed class fee was not much and wouldn’t break the bank but transparency and trust is important to this consumer.

Did a weeklong trial and was hooked after the first class! Every single teacher here is amazing and takes the time to ensure the hour you spend at a class here is worthwhile. The office team is also so friendly and accommodating / helpful with anything you could need in regards to your membership

This is the mc Donald’s of yoga. The teacher just says posture might demonstrate once or twice no correction techniques not the place to go if you want instruction. Also for some reason the instructor was so ashamed of her body that she kept the class super dark you couldn’t even see her demonstrating postures it was so dark it was ridiculous!!!

This is the mc Donald's of yoga. The teacher just says posture and might demonstrate once or twice, no correction techniques - not the place to go if you want instruction. Also for some reason the instructor keeps the class super dark. You couldn' even see her demonstrating postures it was so dark it was ridiculous!!! They say they keep it pitch black so That u can concentrate on yourself but I think it's so that you can't see the instructor. It's really ridiculous hopefully the studio will improve upon everything above but for now it's unfortunately like this!!!

They do not have a phone to contact anyone. So I did as asked on their website -I’ve emailed three times and I’ve never received a a response.I paid $30 for 10 unlimited visits. I have been recouping from multiple surgeries due to breast cancer. My doctor said I could start with gentle yoga movements and stretching. The location was convenient for me, so I joined. Unfortunately, I was unable to utilize the 10 visits because I required yet another surgery.I explained this in my email, and inquired about adjusting the expiration date- no response. And after reading several other reviews online about their customer service, I figure it’s best to just let it go. It’s very sad that they are making money this way.
