Diablo Valley College is a great community college for academics and transferring, often described as the best place to study. The campus is clean and the education is good, with amazing professors and counselors who are friendly, helpful, and care about students. Most staff are very nice and efficient, providing simple access to answers and helpful resources through offices like EOPS, which offer critical support. The college has lots of resources for students to succeed, including advanced labs and programs. The cafeteria has improved, offering good and cheaper food. However, social events and community are limited, with few clubs, and parking can sometimes be a pain. Some professors have obvious agendas, but these are considered few bad apples. It is a highly recommended place to start or continue a college education.
