Exceptional location. But after numerous complaints, my friend's horribly loud neighbors continue to blare loud music that shakes the walls at midnight. There is never warm water. And theft incidents in the complex. But allowing the neighbors to play excessively loud music like they do on their own is intolerable.

This place sucks. The windows never open (glued shut). The walls are cracked/peeling off. There are constant sewage problems which heavily soak the carpets. Cockroaches are a common sight. And to top it off, the management and staff will not help you no matter how many times you call and email. It gets frustrating because you'll be ignored and be expected to fix these problems on your own. Plus, the rent prices increase every year. Now it's currently $2200 per month in 2022.The biggest problem is the constant sewage problem every few months, which result in sewage floods that seep into the carpet and walls. The smell still lingers especially if you use the sink. Apt management will not help you with these floods, so you're expected to clean this up yourself and hire your own cleaning service. Some of my neighbors had to stay in hotels while this got done. The apartment also doesn't have a good seal in between doors and windows, so it's very easy for dirt and insects to get in, which are usually cockroaches. Funny enough, the windows don't even open, so it's easy for these small pests to come in in but it would be hard to remove them, so you would have to take it all the way to the front door.A few appliances broke down at least once, which is because they're very old. Actually, all their appliances are old, so expect to have them break down here and there. Management is very distant, like 90% of the time, they will not answer your calls or emails, even during office hours. Laura is more responsive through emails, but it takes several days to get a response. Simple problems are usually ignored (like replacing blinds pieces) and major issues (like plumbing) takes days to get noticed. You have to consistently remind them of your issues because they will forget.Despite these problems, this place had potential to be better. I liked the spacious rooms and location. It is located near a trail and some shopping areas. I feel like the company and management is what brings down the value and living condition, like the building and appliances are old and broken down, along with serious plumbing and insect issues. They obviously don't care because they don't try to fix these problems. I even spoke to the owner once and he didn't even want to listen to me and basically said "If you don't like it, then leave."

My friend’s apartment is run down. And nothing gets fixed. His garbage disposal doesn’t work now and has been reported numerous times. The management doesn’t seem to take him seriously. What’s going on?

My wife and I just moved in and so far everything is nice. The manager, Laura, was very accommodating and made the move in process friction less. The location is nice too, it is right next to the DVC.

Viking apartments is located by four fantastic schools from Kindergarten all the way up to Jr College. Near by are lots of beautiful sceneries to walk around and also our complex as well. Ive been a tenant here for past eight years now and I love every minute of it. Some day I will grow into a house of my own, but this is a great place to watch your children grow. We currently have a great manager name Laura thats friendly, kind, understanding and just a great manager to have. We also have a nice looking pool and great laundry facilities. If your looking, making Viking Apartments your next home for yourself or family.

Moved in 8/10/202 and here's the experience in the last 24 hours. We came from Fairfield. Where people were getting shot right outside of our security gate. Almost nightly for a year my son couldn't sleep without headphones due to the horrid activity going on below our bedroom including the hails of gunfire from surrounding streets. He couldn't play outside without fear of being hurt by a stranger. Inside of our immediate area wasn't even safe. Not even kidding, I slept with one hand on a weapon, and one arm around my son to ensure his safety. THIS AREA? THIS APARTMENT? A MILLION TIMES BETTER AND SAFER. On our first night in our new HOME, we had peace. We had quiet. My son slept peacefully without headphones. He's comfortable going to the bathroom in his own home here. He said, "I feel safe here." The apartment itself is delightful. Laura has been an absolute GEM! She's been more than helpful and accommodating. She's responded to every question and or concern, no matter how ridiculous. Outside of being a top not manager, she's a lovely human being to interact with. We appreciate this home so much. It's super conveniently located. About 6 minutes from grocery stores and Peet's Coffee. On a side note, just to emphasize how on top of things this place is, there was debris and move out stuff that was left by the garbages yesterday. This morning people were here clearing it all up. A home is what we make it. But this home has already given my son peace and a feeling of safety. And THAT is worth everything in the world. I can see we'll be here for a long time.

We first decided to move there because of the month to month lease and because of the easy access to nearby shopping. After a year we decided to move out do to multiple issues we had throughout the year: - manager never answered phone during work ours and did not answer emergency line. Our apartment flooded due to plumbing backup (two times in 8 months) and both times she did not answer the emergency line after multiple tries. the last time she did not answer for 24 hours and we could not leave a voicemail because it was full. We attempted to call castle management and they did not answer their emergency line either. We had to stay at a hotel since it was not livable. Viking DID NOT reimburse us. - the washer and dryers did not work and constantly broke. dryer did not dry clothes. one time i showed up to wash my clothes and all of the washers and dryers were revoked due to viking not paying rental company. - carpets were disgusting. after our apartment flooded from the toilet, sink, and kitchen sink Viking did not clean the carpets after promising to. - All of the amenities were very low quality. - apartment smelt like cigarette smoke. - management never answered the phone - Raised rent $100 during COVID. This was the final straw in us moving out. Overall the apartment complex took advantage of college and low income residents, pushing the boundaries if what is legal and acceptable living conditions. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Place was in the upper eachelon of aptBuildings. Laura was a delight and personal favorite part of the stay. Pool is kept up and neighbors were interesting
