“We adopted a second dog with VHS around the Holidays. Fantastic dog, we were not expecting to fall in Love that quickly. She is a year old and brought new energy to our old dog who is enjoying chasing the squirrels again…
The adoption process was smooth and joyful.
Thank you VHS to be the link between the families and the animals.”

“Went to the Pleasanton Farmers Market before and honestly had such a good time. Picked up some mushrooms, walked around a bit, saw an art studio booth with a bunch of kids artwork — sooo cute. Then grabbed some really good ice cream nearby ?, there was a big grass area that my pup got to hang out and play. More than I expected! Def coming back, such a nice place to just walk around.”

“Amazing place to volunteer! I've taken groups of middle and high school students twice now and we will keep going back as long as we can! They make everything so easy from signing up to instructions on the day of. It is a really well-run, and needed, organization and totally worth your time!”

“I have worked for HumanGood for over 3 years now and find it to be one of the best places I have ever worked. The culture is so positive and team oriented. For being a large, diverse company (over 100 senior living communities), it is remarkable how people work seamlessly together as one team without politics or finger-pointing. The mission-oriented spirit of a nonprofit prevails, combined with constantly pushing forward and progressing our business practices. It's a healthy culture, delivering great services that we are all proud of and that our residents appreciate.”
