Customer service is beautiful, they have a good products and professional stylist, I personally have a great time. BUT the partial high lights I got the are not just almost no noticeable but I have one "only one" that show very clear and prominent on the middle in the back of my head, for what I pay I honestly will expect more color show, also I got a treatment for $35 for shine and condition but she put in on my hear for small time and rinsed off.. no sure yet if with such a fast on and off this will have a decent effect on my hair. Total for cut + partial (almost unnoticeable) high lights + conditioning treatment was $220.Must say that I will totally give another chance , been more specific of what my expectations are because the stylist that work with me was so nice , smart and the hair cut is amazing .... I may need to just be more specific to her

Visalia location - RUN This location makes claims online that the stylists are experts but clearly they are not. Just move on. Supercuts would be a step up.

I went to Larissa for hair coloring. Firstly i wasn't shown the shade card and instead she went in and mixed the color right away. She gave me highlights but it ended up being a really botched up job. On top of it she said i don't need a toner but all color jobs definitely need it. Halfway through under the dryer she shoved a disclaimer in my face and asked me to sign it. Shouldn't they be given at the beginning of any service? In all, it was very unprofessional and a really botched up job. I now have to go elsewhere to correct it and will have to shell out more money for no fault of mine. Im sure JCP will not refund my money. Please avoid this place and save yourself the emotional distress and hard earned money!!

I went to this salon for hair highlights this Sunday after consulting one of their stylist on Saturday. Everything was finalized and she did understand what I actually wanted and was ready to even do it same day but I couldn’t do it because I had prior appointment somewhere else, so I booked for next day that is on Sunday. The other stylist with whom I got booking was so intimidating to me. She kept mentioning I don’t know what I want. She asked me for a picture of what I wanted which I tried showing to her. Instead of understanding my point she kept on belittling me that, I don’t know much about hair coloring. I never felt that much insulted in any salon ever. She quoted me more that double of what was quoted to me a day before for same service. What is the point of initial consultation then?? She was not polite with my four year old too. During our conversation inside the salon my very playful little 4 year old girl was just hanging around me, this stylist asked my in a very rude manner to take her out of the salon. She could have politely asked me to not bring my kid along with me. I was not planning to keep her with me during the process anyway and she was going to stay with her dad outside the salon premises. There was no other customer or staff other than us at that time, my daughter was not at all disturbing any other client or staff neither she was touching anything over there. I came back without any service. I would never return to this salon ever. The lady on the reception that day too had very unwelcoming behavior whereas, when I initially consulted on Saturday all the staff with whom I interacted was so so welcoming and polite. I don’t know why there was such a huge difference in staff behavior in two different days. Anyways bye bye JCP salon!!!

I had a hair cut here. The stylist was very nice. And took her time in cutting my hair. However, I do see some sections that need to be trimmed. I will give her a second chance to see what happens.

Bad customer service, we made a appointment on a Saturday online, and they failed to check for our appointment, and ask us "do you want to come next Saturday ". Don not recommend this hair salon or buisness. Very lousy.

Should be a negative five starts at least. Short version is...JCPenny Salon in Riverhills Mall, Kerrville TX made my 11 year old daughter leave while I was getting my hair washed. They knew she was with me and did not even tell me that their "policy" was to only let people with appointments stay in the salon. When I called to find out if this was correct information my daughter was giving me, I was even more stunned to be treated rudely by the person on the phone. Curt and smart mouthed about it. My daughter was put in a very unsafe position. The salon is positioned right next to the parking lot and she had no place to sit except the hallway between the doors on a little bench. Thankfully she chose to hide out between displays in the hallway outside of the Salon. This could have ended badly. She could have been snatched up before I ever even knew she was not sitting where I, her mother, left her. There was no excuse to do this to a child much less not even say a word when I came back out and was obviously rattled that she was not there. My stylists knew nothing about it and was perplexed by my daughters text stating she had been asked to leave. Customers, please feel free to ask Julia if she can explain why she did this KNOWING the child was with me. She had forty minutes to talk to me about it after it happened and surely heard me questioning my stylist. I enjoy shopping at JCP and typically am not one to complain as I know sometimes things just happen...but this is different. This was avoidable and totally wrong. I will not be going back to this salon and it is a shame because my stylist was good and very sweet.

Very unprofessional client relations, and cold service. Made an appointment online, got a confirmation. Hours later, I showed up for my appointment. After waiting for about 10minutes, only for Monica (i booked under her name) to tell me in a very off-handed way that there was a mix-up with the booking and she was busy with another client's hair. Then she just walked away and left me standing by her chair. No solution, no apology, no plan B. Meanwhile one other lady (I assume it's the store manager but could be wrong) walked by me a few times and said nothing. After waiting for a few minutes, thinking Monica went to check on the client she was working on and was coming to offer another appointment time, apologize or something, the receptionist came over and tried to explain saying something about my hair type (curly), the mixup etc. She even offered to do my hair but said she had no experience doing my hair type. Then when I insisted on getting clear explanation about what was going on, another hairstylist came to me, apologized and was kind enough to explain. Then I was told that only 2 of the 3 stylists could do curly hair etc., but they were both busy because of the mixup. She offered that I come back during the week. I couldn't but thanked her for it. Meanwhile, Monica continued what she was doing and just ignored us. I made it clear how I felt and that it wasn't professional or acceptable to treat their clients like that, especially when they messed up. Not sure if they have internal issues or whatever, but they need to deal with that. IT'S NOT ACCEPTABLE! Wasted my time and made no apologies or proper explanation. I called JCP customer care line and made a complaint. Hair is a serious issue for women, and you want your hair done at a place you feel welcome. No one should be treated like that. Not going back there again.

I had a great haircut with Lyla and 100% would return! She listened and understood the cut I wanted per our consultation. Also, the service was very quick. I was immediately seated and began my appointment on time. She did exactly what I wanted; cleaned up my ends and added soft layers. She's a lovely person, very personable!

Bernetta ROCKS! Color/ Cut/ Relaxer / Style she is A++. I have recommended her to friends and they were also satisfied. I have been in her chair and her peers have reached out to her for assistance and she 'graciously' assisted them. Thank you Bernetta
