A staggering level of incompetence. Doctor made a mistake on my prescription quantity and send a correction after I picked up my medication. I had to go months without medication because they refused to fix their issue. Now that I finally have my medication, the price changes every time I pick up a refill. Sure sounds like there’s some problems with leadership at this location.

I was here today and I had booked an appointment at 9:00 for 9:15 when I arrive, they said someone had taken my spot and booked an appointment in a matter of 2 minutes. The staff were also very rude and not understanding.

This review is for their lab department: Normally when I get lab work done at Kaiser, the whole process is quick and easy. In and out within 30 mins. After my visit with the doctor today, I got orders to get labs done. So, there was no pre-booked appointment for me. As I got to the lab waiting room, I realize Their queue numbering system machine was down, which kind of messed up the numbering of the patients. Fine, no complaints about that, technology fails us from time to time. Long story short, after getting registered, I waited an hour in the waiting room to be called for blood draw. I see the registration team working real hard to get people registered. They were call numbers in the 60's.. and the phlebotomists were still working on 40's. Only 2 phlebotomists actively doing blood draws with 20 people in the waiting room. I can see into the back.. the phlebs were just chill, talking, walking in and out of waiting room. As I watch the tv screen for some kind of movement with the numbers.. they were stuck on 48 for a long time. I was number 50. "come on.. call #49" next number pops up.. 827. Someone with an appointment. Surely, they'll call #49 next. 5 whole mins later.. 828. Its already been an hour wait for me by then. If the phlebs were working hard... I'd totally understand the back up. I got up and left.

Unbelievable that I wanted a month for an appointment for a physical and when I showed up at the time of my appointment I was informed that the physician had called off work for the entire week! No one from Kaiser had the decency to call me ahead of time to tell me, so I drove from home to find out when I got there and checked in. This is completely unacceptable, not one other physician in the Kaiser system could cover appointments for this physician that took a week long vacant!! I have reached out to my employer to see how quickly I can change my medical coverage plan and get out of this system that puts people LAST! Kaiser has failed me on so many occasions I could list them all on this form! I fell and split my head open and the advise nurse told me to drive to two other medical centers, since the Emergency Room closest to me was crowded. This level of incompetency should not be allowed to continue!

I have been a Kaiser member since 1968. I have always been more than satisfied with their service and expertise. I have had 5 operations through Kaiser, 2 babies born through Kaiser, one baby hospitalized at a year old, both children under Kaiser pediatrics all through their childhoods, years of preventative care etc. I have always found the doctors caring. My primary care doctor for the last 10 years spends lots of time with me and even responds to my e-mails on a Sunday night! Of course, Kaiser is a big operation and sees a lot of people. Sometimes I do have to wait, but that happens under non-Kaiser doctors too. There simply are not enough doctors for all of us needing them. I think Kaiser gets a bad rap. It is convenient, clean, caring, and has excellent doctors.

No masks required here, no one wearing any. Look, I get it, not everyone cares, or wants to care, about COVID. Fine. But if there's one thing that COVID has made pretty obvious it's that everyone in a medical building should be wearing a mask at all times. These places are for people, who are sick, to get the help they need. Employees walk from one patient to another, talking up close and in closed spaces. They walk throughout the building interacting with others. This is a no-brainer. There's no reason to not require masks in these spaces. At this point I'm done with Kaiser the first chance I get. Response to Kaiser: Who cares if the state isn't making you do it, you can make your own choices on masking in your buildings. Everyone, everywhere, in a medical facility, should be wearing one.

Very small but well stocked, great staff. The pharmacist came out to help a woman who was feeling dizzy.

I have used the Pleasanton Kaiser medical center for 15 years snd have received excellent care. The staff and doctors have all been professional and attentive to my numerous medical issues. The pharmacy, laboratory, and imaging departments have all been extremely good. I am grateful to have Kaiser as my health care provider.

Called to get access to my medical records and was given the run-around. Complete joke of a system for people who are not currently enrolled but still have records . I was on hold a very long time, and could not get any viable explanation for my missing file. The records specialist was a complete cow. Really awful at demonstrating compassion and her communication skills. I finally did get someone in the SF departments to assist me, but again, not everything was there and no explanation or even a connecting number to get further help and guidance.

Kaiser gets a lot of flak, rightfully so, but when they do good, I'd like to give credit where credit is due. This review is specific to the Radiology/Imaging dept. I had to go in for a CT scan. When I arrived, the coordinator who checked me in noticed that I also had an upcoming mammogram appt. He offered to schedule the mammogram that same morning without having to return in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for going above and beyond! I was slightly nervous when it was time to get the CT scan. The two techs performing the procedure were incredibly sweet and kind, which made me feel comfortable. Their genuine care/interest and personality shined brightly; I could feel their positive energy. Kudos to all three in that department. I left with a smile on my face as I was heading back to work. P.S. The girl who performed my mammogram had a lovely, natural updo and killer winged liner. =)

Everytime I come here for an appointment, I'm left sitting for 20 to 30 minutes beyond my appointment time. If i show up 15 minutes late they cancel my appointment. Kaiser charges its members to sit and waste our time since they don't know how to schedule appointments properly! Kaiser needs to place more priority on serving members and not just taking our money!

I was calling to set up a phone appointment with my doctor. The customer service rep Karika was very rude in talking and even arguing. I had to talk to her manager Melanie in explaining the situation and booked the appointment through her. This wasted me 30 minutes. What a broken system is Kaiser and what a bad training it provided. After Covid-19, many things are changed in the bad way, even some enterprises made tons of money from it. Services are getting worse and worse overall. Today's case is just a little one, I saw many other customers complain and the problems they encountered. I was not served, I was hurt.
